MORNING & EVENING ZIKR

In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens and He is the All-Hearer
the All-Knowing. (Abu-Dawud)

I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah from His anger and His punishment and the evil of His slaves, and

I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah, from the evil of what descends from the sky and the evil of what
ascends in it, and from the evil of what is created in the earth and the evil of what comes out of it, and from the trials
of the night and day, and from the visitations of the night and day, except for one that knocks with good, O Merciful!

O Allah, I seek refuge with you from the evil inside me and from the evil of every creature that you seize with its
forelock. Verily my lord is on the right path.

O Allah! I seek well-being in this world and the next. O Allah! I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion
and in my (life in this) world, in my family, and in my property. O Allah! Veil my faults and pacify me in my anguish. O
Allah! Guard me from in front of me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I
seek protection in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath. (Abu-Dawud)

O Allah! You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I keep Your covenant and my
pledge to You and to live in the hope of Your promise, so far as I am able to. I seek refuge in You from the evil of
creation. I recognize Your blessings upon me, and I recognize my misdeeds. So forgive me, for surely there is none
who may forgive sins but You. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

I believe in Allh, The Incomparably Great, and I reject the sorcerers and the idols, and I hold fast to the firmest
handhold that never breaks, and Allh is All-Hearing, all-knowing.

We have entered a new day upon the nature of Islam (In the evening say; We have entered a new evening ) and the
word of pure faith, and upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), and the religion of our forefather
Ibrahim, who was a Muslim and of true faith and was not of those who associate partners with Allah. (Musnad
Ahmed)
We have entered a new morning (evening) and so too the entire kingdom of Allah has entered a new morning
(evening) . And Praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah, He is Alone. He has no partner. To Him belongs
sovereignty and praise and He is Powerful upon all things. My Lord! I ask You for the good of this day (night) and of
that which follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day (night) and of that which follows it. My Lord! I
seek refuge in You from laziness and helpless old age. My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell-fire,
and from the punishment of the grave. (Sahih Muslim)

Glory and Praise be to Allah. There is no strength except with Allah. Whatever Allah wills happens and whatever Allah

know that Allah is able to do all things and that Allah has encompassed all things with his Knowledge.

O Allah! Lord of the seven Heavens and Lord of the mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things; Splitter of the

that You will seize by the forelock ( ie, have full control over them). O Allah! You are the first and there is nothing
before You; You are the Last and there is nothing after You; You are the Manifest and there is nothing above You;
You are the hidden and there is nothing Beyond You. Settle our debts and spare us from poverty.
