MAKE YOUR MARK By TeenLeadership Council

Make Your Mark--The objectives and emphasis of the program will be to consider, explore, and DISCOVER your personal "mission statement". One thing most corporations, non-profits, and successful businesses have in common is a concise mission statement that clarifies their framework, goals, and purpose. Successful people have them too. What kind of legacy do you want to leave at high school and thru college, church, your adult life, as a parent, and as a person? Know who you are and where you want to go... MAKE YOUR MARK. Leave a legacy you will be proud of. We will explore values, priorities, dreams, goals, service to others, and much more.

OUT OF SCHOOL TIME LEARNING

provides academic intervention, enrichment opportunities and health and well-being activities throughout the school year. Specific program elements include: values education, wellness, parent and family engagement, tutoring, life and career skills, college and career exploration and service learning.

The Ys Education Initiative work builds on our strengths in giving young people the tools and motivation to succeed through a holistic approach of developing their social, emotional, academic, and physical well-being (Spirit, Mind, Body). Youth development programs provide role models, skill-building, community connectivity and opportunities for youth to identify and cultivate interests and talents and build character and leadership abilities. Intentionally folding, values-based elements into our existing youth development programs will enable us to improve educational outcomes for all children and change the trajectory of their lives.
