Seven subcommittees established to determine goals and strategies for the incoming administration
ALBANY, N.Y. (Nov. 21, 2013) --- Today, Mayor-elect Kathy Sheehan has announced the co-chairs of the subcommittees that will comprise of the Mayor-elect’s transition committee. The seven subcommittees have been created to further examine strategies and goals for the incoming administration to address. The subcommittees will report their findings to the incoming administration shortly after taking office. “These subcommittee co-chairs represent leadership from across Albany and our region, and bring diverse talents and experiences to the table. This transition committee as a whole will help determine my administrations goals, strategies and priorities for solving our city's most pressing needs and challenges. I look forward to their recommendations as we embark on our city's next chapter,” said Mayor-elect Sheehan. The full membership of the subcommittees will be announced in the near future. The members will come from community groups, labor, elected officials, and the business community.
