drawn successively from the box without replacement. If X represents the number of red

balls, find the probability distribution of X.

Question 3. A shipment of 10 cellphones contains 3 defective phones. A cellphone

retail dealer makes a random purchase of 4 of the cellphones. If X is the random variable

representing the number of defective cellphones purchased, find (a) the probability

distribution of X, (b) P(X<2), and (c) P(0<X<3).
