The Advent season is a time to celebrate that our God came, is coming, and will come again. As we travel the road to Christmas, there are many ways to celebrate this time of anticipation. This Advent resource encourages individuals, families, and faith communities to participate in this tradition—with a twist. Celebrate through acts of mercy. This year Advent begins on Dec. 1st and there is a special devotional book to lead your family through the Advent Season. As our Gift to you, the church has provided one devotional book per family. You may pick up your family devotional book in the foyer TODAY. Join us during Advent as we will celebrate Christ’s arrival together.

MICAH 6:8 MINISTRY DID YOU KNOW .....that in 1621, the Pilgrims had their first Thanksgiving? President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving an annual national holiday with his Thanksgiving Proclamation in 1863. President Franklin D. Roosevelt decided that the 4th Thursday in November was the permanent day for this holiday. The term "Thanksgiving" is from the English translation of the Bible, where it means "giving thanks to God'?
