When the strongest typhoon in the world devastated almost the entire province of Leyte, they asked me the same question: Why did this happen in Leyte? Is this a punishment of God? My answer was down-to-earth and had nothing to do with Divine wrath or retributi on. Bohol experienced a long anticipated big quake because it lies in the earthq uake zone which includes other neighboring countries. Tacloban lies in the typhoon s path. Supertyphoon Yolanda could have passed through other parts of the Philippines. It s just Leyte s tough luck that the province was located along the typhoon s strongest thrust. But could there be a deeper reason, that this tragic incident is not mere coinci dence? I didn t think so, until I received this message from an entity called Ang Suh, fr om the Upper 5th Dimension, which is channeled by a Filipino medical doctor now based in New Zealand. I quote here only relevant portions of the long channeled message:

Part of the healing process The tragedy in the Philippines is a step-up process of the healing that is to tak e place for the earth and for its inhabitants. Much has been said of the changes that are to take place and it began long before this tragedy, but changes inten sifying at a greater and faster scale will be more felt as the earth is gearing for its major phase of healing itself. Like you, the earth is very much alive, hurting for a long time now but very much giving and loving. But to save itself and those who are willing to weather the storm with her, a transformation is necessary, otherwise everything will self-de struct, as intense chaotic energy will turn inward and destroy earth from within . That will be a more disastrous consequence of all the negative energy man has harbored and expressed to all creation, to earth, to the universe There will be more destruction and devastation as the earth undergoes its healing process it is trying to maintain its balance all negative thoughts are contrary to the universal good. People who have died at this point in time have chosen to do so, to be a part of the healing that their Mother Earth is undergoing for a better earth, for a bett er life for all. The suffering is of a great magnitude, but it is not in vain th at all of these are happening now, and it is of great significance how other peo ple in your world react You can see now how the whole world is focused on helping a tiny nation in the Pacific. sh is the state of heart of those who are in the middle of the tragedy, if each can see beyond the tragedy, if each can think of the others in spite of what has happened, if there is realization of what has to be done to preserve Mother Ear th This is a chance for all to change reciate what is left What can be done? Aside from the urgent physical relief goods of food, water and medicines, Ang Su h suggests that everyone can also help by directing healing energy as a ball of light to those places devastated by the supertyphoon, using the power of their m inds. Ang Suh said that, If you realize you are part spirit, you see these events as no t the end, but rather a means to a better journey toward the light.
