Part VIII: Formative Evaluation Plan Two surveys have been created to evaluate the effectiveness of the course. One is for students and the other is for a peerreviewers. Several colleagues will serve as my peer-reviewers. The colleagues I have chosen have experience teaching students in upper elementary grade levels. My colleagues all have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. They will be asked to complete a questionnaire/survey which consists of open-ended questions. The results from the Student Survey multiple choice questions will be entered into a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will indicate the percentage of students that chose a, b, or c for each question on the survey. The responses to the open-ended questions will be analyzed on a spreadsheet as well. The SME Survey consists of open-ended questions. The results will be analyzed on a spreadsheet after being exported from SurveyMonkey. Once the information has been collected and analyzed, modifications will be made to increase course effectiveness and the student success rate.
