kevin pusateri carlos hathcock, the greatest sniper in marine history, recreated the exact scene of the murder and couldnt come close to firing 3 shots like the warren commision had said. he barely fired 2. November 26, 2013 at 3:28 pm | Reply

Raynardo I've had several other weapons experts tell me it was physically impossible to fire three successive shots from the $12 Italian Carcano with a a $7 scope in the amount of time that was recorded from open microphones. Much less with the accuracy Oswald supposedly accomplished: one errant bullet into a traffic light, immediately followed successively by one through Kennedy's throat, and finally the fatal bullet which exploded Kennedy's right side of his head. The science reports I've seen lately seem to indicate that the bullets that struck Kennedy came from above and behind, as well as photographic enhanced evidence of a figure at the Texas School Book Depository precisely where Dallas police found the Carcano and three spent shells. It's just that timing that eats me. Maybe in due time, probably not in most of our lifetimes, this will be correctly answered. December 2, 2013 at 4:47 pm | Reply

Yogol That's not true. You shouldn't say 'shoot 3 bullets in 10 seconds'. It's 'shoot, then shoot two more in 10 seconds'. It was PANG, wait 5 seconds, PANG, wait 5 seconds PANG. Carlos Hathcock did: 'Timer starts, wait 5 seconds, PANG wait 5 seconds, PANG'. Which is pretty much the same as Oswald, except that he started with a first shot. December 3, 2013 at 7:17 am | Reply

November 21, 2013 at 6:34 am | Reply Roland Thau CNN's headline trumpeting "Secretary Kerry's bombshell on the JFK assassination" headlineHeadline is a juvenile and misleading attempt to call attention to its article which does not support the headline itself. Secretary of State Kerry expressed his doubt about the complete accuracy of the Warren commission's findings that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in JFK's assassination. This is a doubt which is huge number of Americans (perhaps a majority) and others in the world, had long shared. Therefore, Kerry's statement is absolutely not a bombshell. The headline was intended to suggest that Kerry had shed new light on the issue, and perhaps offered heretofore unrevealed evidence. He did no such thing and CNN should be ashamed to be practicing cheap sham journalism. the November 20, 2013 at 2:44 pm | Reply

Steve Turner ??? Well this story points out the fact that like most Americans, John Kerry is a gullible believer of the biggest lie in American history--the conspiracy theory behind the Kennedy assassination. There was no conspiracy, Oswald did it, alone. End of story, case closed. November 24, 2013 at 9:48 pm | Reply

K.Haskins 50 years have passed. People still don't know 100% of what did -or did not- lead to the assassination. After 50 years with no 100% proof that one theory or another is THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER, WHY can't we just let JFK rest in peace?! I am so TIRED of the blah blah blah!!!! Sooz Everyone involved is not dead. George Bush Sr. was in the CIA & also Dick Cheney & Rumsfeld who were in the Nixon administration & who was in the CIA are still alive. Oswald was in the CIA also & stated he was a patsy before being shot. Obviously you are clueless when it come to politics, the truth will never come out & it's still happening today, John Kennedy wanted to disband the CIA & not go into Vietnam. Don't forget that the handsome young JFK Jr. would of won the New York senate seat that Hillary wanted & George Bush Jr. would never have elected if JFK Jr. would of wanted to run for

President & not to mention the Israel Massad agents that do their dirty work. Shame on all !! Every president since Kennedy knows who is boss, CIA. November 20, 2013 at 5:02 pm | Reply Rene See, the government benefits from the ongoing confusion. If the MSM would simple report on the well-known record and report the truth about the JFK plot (including CIA's E Howard Hunt's deathbed confession), sooner or later people would question more recent cover-ups like 911. With that, the entire system of lies as it has been constructed now will have to be reconstructed and most people simply do not want to go there. Listen to Jesse Ventura people: the truth will set you free!
