Greetings once again. I am sorry I have not written earlier, concerning the property purchase, for the church building we were planning to build, this ooming summer. So many
we would not have tried to buy it. (There is an appointed time for everything. is a time for every event under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NASB)
And there
In August of last year, Mr. Arnulfo Ramos came to us and told us that he had a piece of land for sale. The congregation and I looked at it and discussed the possibilities. The location was good. Finally, in September, the congregation decided to bi^ it. Mr. Ramos brought the papers "and some of the men, in the congi*egation ,and I went to 1^e County

We questioned why she waited so long to do some thing about it, since the deed was dated in 1970, She said, she was afraid of him because he used to beat her; but, now the children are old enough to defend her,she was determined to fight for the land. We decided to investigate and not force her out. (Rest in the Lo^; wait patiently for him to act. Don't be envious of evil men who prosper. For. the'w.. the deed dated in 1970 could not have been legal and apparently was a fraud.
We asked Mr. Ramos about it and he said her grandfather sold the land to him
At the same time, the lady hired a lawyer and they asked the authorities in Cuernau-

Our lawyer said that we could move her out and get the land if we pay enough money to the judge. We did not want to do that. We believe the land is hers and we will let her
fight for it. The congregation and I made this decision. (And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don t get

Mr, Ramos was charged with fraud and said he is going to fight for the land. We told

Bring a translator. I am sure somebody at Colegio Biblico can come with you. We want you to understand what we are doing and what we are going through. We want^to talk to you an answer your questions. When you have questions, you have interest. An interest, we trust, not only in the money that you send, but in us, as people, as children of God, as souls
that can be reached and touched by Him.
Why don*t you come down next summer anyway? It will be an encouragement to all of us.
There is a possibility that I will be going to Colorado in June. The Christian Church
in Delta wants me to be the VBS missionary speaker. I will also go to the border in for the Bilingual Convention. What about meeting some of you there?

Thank the Lord, problems with the land have not hurt the faith of our saints. Every thing keeps going strong. Our faith, our work, our growth. We started Sunday Services in Cuautlal We have a nice group. I have another good helper that I count on. Brother Faustino Tinoco, who professed his faith last year. He is in charge on Sunday morning ser vices in Yecapixtla.
