EXTRACURRICULAR EDUCATION In my space time I have undertaken many exercises in autodidacticism: Physics Undertook online courses in Classical Mechanics, Special Relativity, General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory from Stanford. Each course consisting of 9 to 11 hours of material Biology Undertook an 25 hour online course in Human Behavioural Biology from Stanford Mathematics Taught myself the fundamentals of Category Theory (currently writing a paper on it), the theory of Riemann Surfaces, the fundamentals of Algebraic Topology (specically homotopy theory) and propositional/rst-order logic Personally tutored for approximately 10 to 15 hours by Neal Bez on the fundamentals of Harmonic Analysis. Undertook a summer project on the subject and I am continuing to investigate the generalisations of the Lebesgue dierential theorem Computing Taught myself various computer programming languages and CGI production methods. NOTABLE PROJECTS For my Extended Project Qualication I produced a project on Newtonian and Einsteinian gravity in which I programmed a (Newtonian) n-body 3D simulation - given initial conditions of our galaxy it predicted earths year correct to 2 hours and even predicted the orbit of the sun around the galaxys centre of mass After undertaking a course describing the simple principles of neurons I abstracted them and programmed a neural network with 50,000+ articial neurons. During the simulation I stimulated certain neurons repetitively, the result was that it showed primitive signs of memory Im currently writing a paper concerning category theory. It will hopefully give a new way to compare how well morphisms in a 2-cateorgy preserve structure of the underlying objects. I will then apply to this to the study of Holomorphic functions
