Why Coffee Enema Cleansing Works
The effects of a coffee enema are different than a saline enema. The most important difference between a saline
enema and a coffee enema is the presence of caffeine in the coffee. Caffeine, theophylline and theobromine,
combine to stimulate the relaxation of smooth muscles causing dilatation of blood vessels and bile ducts. The
effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The veins of the anus are very close to the
surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in higher concentration) than it is in
when coffee is drunk.
Benefits of Enemas and Colonics with Coffee
Enemas and Colonics have been used for hundreds of years, and are generally regarded as safe. Additionally,
coffee cleansing enemas have a chemical makeup that is stimulative. The enzymes in coffee, known as
palmitates, help the liver carry away the toxins in bile acid. The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein,
then taken up to the liver by the portal vein. With the bile ducts dilated, bile carries toxins away to the gastrointestinal tract. Simultaneously, peristaltic activity is encouraged because of the flooding of the lower colon.
Thus, when the colon is evacuated, the toxins and bile are carried out of the body.
Enema and Colonic Supplies and kits

Organic coffee, any roasting level will do.
French Press pot.
Coffee Enema Recipe
Bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
Grind eight heaping spoonfuls of organic coffee. Put it in a french press pot. You can use a drip coffee
maker, but be sure to use organic, non-bleached coffee filters.
Pour the water over the coffee grounds and let it steep then cool for one hour or more.
After this amount of time, the liquid should be about body temperature. If you stick your finger in the
water it should be lukewarm or cool, but not hot.
Press the coffee grounds to the bottom, then pour the coffee liquid into the enema bag.
Never utilize flavored coffee, sweetened coffee, or coffee with milk (cafe au lait) for this purpose.
The use of coffee in a colonic, enema, or suppository will result in cleansing alongside a heightened sense of
well being, pleasure, and a release of toxins.

TAKING THE ENEMA


1. Remove the cover from the tube. Unclasp the clamp and let the liquid run until the coffee begins to run,
thereby removing the air in the tube. Reclasp the clamp. You will have to do this over the toilet or sink so that is
catches the liquid that comes out.
2. The enema bucket needs to be placed above wherever you are lying down, whether it's on top of the toilet,
hung on a towel rack or on a countertop. Ideal height is 18 inches. Higher than this can create too strong a flow.
Having it elevated is necessary so that the liquid flows downward. Situate it in such a way that you can control
the clamp that is on the tube.
3. Apply a small amount of oil to the end of the tube to ease with the insertion.
4. The easiest position to insert the enema is on your knees, head down on towel/blanket, so that gravity will
help the liquid flow into the colon. Another option is to lie on your right side.
5. Insert the tube into the rectum while using the other hand to support you. Insert it about 2-3 inches. Be gentle
& do not push it too far. Breathe & relax.

5. Often, if some fecal matter is lower in the rectal tract, you may want to take in about 1/8 or 1/4 of the liquid just enough to expel the fecal matter in the lower tract. In this case, it is not necessary to hold the liquid for any
period of time. If you've had a recent bowel movement, this step may not be necessary.
6. Divide the remaining liquid approximately in half (mentally). Or you may have already separated the liquid,
and have the other half in a container which is helping to retain the warmth.
If you are new to the enema process, I recommend that you do the enema in two parts. If you feel that you can
hold the entire quart, you can also do it that way.
7. Take half of the liquid (about 1/2 quart) into the bowels. Do it gradually. You can use the clamp to control
how much and how fast it goes in. Remember to keeping on breathing.
8. Remember to close the clamp & then remove the tube (or you will regret it). Lay on your right side or on
your back with legs and pelvis elevated. Hold the first portion for 12-15 minutes.
Open to receive this amazing detoxification of your system. Allow your body to relax. You may want to gently
massage your belly.
If nature calls after taking in the liquid (i.e. you feel a strong urge to expel) - even after a minute or two, do not
resist -- go ahead and expel it. At first, it may be hard to hold the liquid for the full 12-15 minutes. Later, after
several enemas (and thus a certain amount of toxic elimination), it will be much easier for the bowels to hold
the liquid for the full 15 minutes.
9. Expel enema.
10. Take in the second 1/2 quart and hold for another 12-15 minutes. Then expel.
11. Clean your enema bucket by running warm water in it with a squirt of a neutral soap such as Castille (clasp
closed). Dip some toilet paper into the water and wipe off the end of the tube (don't double dip). Open the clasp
and let the remaining liquid run though the tube into the toilet or sink. Close the clasp and put the cover on the
end of tube.
12. Give yourself some time to rest after the enema (20 to 30 minutes) - without walking or exercising. This
helps ensure that you are at home, and near a toilet, if another small amount of enema liquid needs to come out
that was not expelled earlier.
Coffee Enema TIPS
Make sure that there are no grounds in the enema bag or enema hose; also ensure that the hose doesn't
get a kink in it as this will result in the settling of the coffee oils.
USE Old towels (to use when kneeling/laying on the floor); do not use good towels (since any coffee
drops will permanently stain the towels)
. Use some lubricant for insertion of tube into rectum: a few drops of coconut oil, olive oil or sesame
oil. Avoid petroleum jellies such as KY or Vaseline.
Lie on your right side, inject and attempt to retain the coffee for 10-15 minutes.

bowels.

PREPARING SPACE
While the enema is cooking, get your space ready. Make it a comfortable experience. Keep in mind
that coffee does stain, so use towels, blankets, clothes that you don't mind getting stained.
The easiest place to do the enema is in the bathroom.
Figure out what is the best space for you to lie down, whether in the shower/bathtub or on the floor.
Put down blankets, towels or a mat. You can use a large roll of toilet paper
(with a towel over it) as a pillow.
You may want to have something to cover yourself with, and a pair of socks
and/or a heater to keep you warm.
Have a clock there to time the 12-15 minutes.
Have a roll of toilet paper or paper towels for quick wipe up.
The coffee can also stain floors, so it's best to have something on hand.
You can even have soft music playing or read a book,
though I have found that it's is a great opportunity to enjoy quiet, solitary time.

Chi Nei Tsang Organ/Abdominal Massage
Chi Nei Tsang abdominal chi massage takes movement of the chi further than musculoskeletal system. It
addresses balance within the abdominal cavity, the organs and their relationship with the meridians they are
connected to. Chi Nei Tsang facilitates balance by releasing tension of the muscular system surrounding the
cells, organs systems and structural components of the spinal and cranium. Ultimately, the rhythm of the spinal
fluid normalizes and balance in the system is restored. Once balance occurs here it affects the physical,
emotional and mental planes
A set of acupressure points around the navel are used to open the flow of energy plus blood and lymph
circulation in the abdomen. The often chronically contracted abdominal muscles and ligaments get released
thru gentle rocking, stretching, and shaking. This allows the process of breathing to engage the abdomen so that
internal organs are prompted to work more efficiently.

Chi Nei Tsang: A Method to Clear Blocked Energy


The Taoist sages of ancient China observed that humans often develop energy blockages in their internal organs
that result in knots and tangles in their abdomens. These obstructions occur at the center of the bodys vital
functions and constrict the flow of Chi (energy), our life-force. The negative emotions of fear, anger, anxiety,
depression, and worry cause the most damage. Problems can also be caused by overwork, stress, accidents,
surgery, drugs, toxins, poor food, and bad posture.
When obstructed the internal organs store unhealthy energies that can overflow into other bodily systems and
surface as negative emotions and sickness. Always in search of an outlet, these negative emotions and toxic
energies create a perpetual cycle of negativity and stress. (Fig. 1) If the negative emotions cant find an outlet,
they fester in the organs or move into the abdomen, the bodys garbage dump. The abdomen can process

some emotional garbage, but more often it cant keep up with the flow. The energetic center of the body located
at the navel becomes congested and cut off from the rest of the body.
Chi, the life-force energy, moves through the bodys internal channels, nervous system, blood vessels, and
lymph glands. These systems concentrate and cross paths in the abdomen which acts as their control center.
Tensions, worries, and stresses of the day, month, or year accumulate there and are seldom dispersed. These
disturbances can cause physical tangling and knotting of the nerves, blood vessels, and lymph nodes. The result
is the gradual obstruction of energy circulation.
History of DETOXIFICATION EFFECTS OF THE COFFEE ENEMA
In the 1920s, German scientists found that a caffeine solution could open the bile ducts and stimulate the
production of bile in the liver of experimental animals.
Dr. Max Gerson used this clinically as part of a general detoxification regimen, first for tuberculosis, then
cancer. Caffeine, he postulated, will travel up the hemorrhoidal to the portal vein and thence to the liver itself.
Gerson noted some remarkable effects of this procedure. For instance, patients could dispense with all painkillers once on the enemas. Many people have noted the paradoxical calming effect of coffee enemas.
And while coffee enemas can relieve constipation, Gerson cautioned: "Patients have to know that the coffee
enemas are not given for the function of the intestines but for the stimulation of the liver."
Coffee enemas were an established part of medical practice when Dr. Max Gerson introduced them into cancer
therapy in the 1930s. Basing himself on German laboratory work, Gerson believed that caffeine could
stimulate the liver and gall bladder to discharge bile. He felt this process could contribute to the health of the
cancer patient.
Although the coffee enema has been heaped with scorn, there has been some independent scientific work that
gives credence to this concept. In 1981, for instance, Dr. Lee Wattenberg and his colleagues were able to show
that substances found in coffee - kahweol and cafestol palmitate - promote the activity of a key enzyme
system, glutathione S-transferase, above the norm. This system detoxifies a vast array of electrophiles from
the bloodstream and, according to Gar Hildenbrand of the Gerson Institute, "must be regarded as an important
mechanism for carcinogen detoxification." This enzyme group is responsible for neutralizing free radicals,
the harmful chemicals now commonly implicated in the initiation of cancer. In mice, for example, these
systems are enhanced 600% in the liver and 700% in the bowel when coffee beans are added to the mice's
diet.
Dr. Peter Lechner, who is investigating the Gerson method at the Landeskrankenhaus of Graz, Austria, has
reported that "coffee enemas have a definite effect on the colon which can be observed with an endoscope."
F.W. Cope (1977) has postulated the existence of a "tissue damage syndrome." When cells are challenged by
poison, oxygen deprivation, malnutrition or a physical trauma they lose potassium, take on sodium and chloride,
and swell up with excess water.
Another scientist (Ling) has suggested that water in a normal cell is contained in an "ice-like" structure. Being
alive requires not just the right chemicals but the right chemical structure. Cells normally have a preference for
potassium over sodium but when a cell is damaged it begins to prefer sodium. This craving results in a damaged
ability of cells to repair themselves and to utilize energy. Further, damaged cells produce toxins; around tumors
are zones of "wounded" but still non-malignant tissue, swollen with salt and water.
Gerson believed it axiomatic that cancer could not exist in normal metabolism. He pointed to the fact that
scientists often had to damage an animal's thyroid and adrenals just to get a transplanted tumor to "take." He

directed his efforts toward creating normal metabolism in the tissue surrounding a tumor.
It is the liver and small bowel which neutralize the most common tissue toxins: polyamines, ammonia, toxicbound nitrogen and electrophiles. These detoxification systems are probably enhanced by the coffee enema.
Physiological Chemistry and Physics has stated that "caffeine enemas cause dilation of bile ducts, which
facilitates excretion of toxic cancer breakdown products by the liver and dialysis of toxic products across
the colonic wall."
In addition, theophylline and theobromine (two other chemicals in coffee) dilate blood vessels and
counter inflammation of the gut; the palmitates enhance the enzyme system responsible for the removal
of toxic free radicals from the serum; and the fluid of the enema then stimulates the visceral nervous
system to promote peristalsis and the transit of diluted toxic bile from the duodenum and out the rectum.
Since the enema is generally held for 15 minutes, and all the blood in the body passes through the liver
every three minutes, "these enemas represent a form of dialysis of blood across the gut wall" (Healing
Newsletter, #13, May-June, 1986).

Our Journal is focused upon filling the space that we are clearing in our
physical and mental body with Prosperity and Gratitude.

The Prosperity Plan is traditionally done for a total of 40


days(optional). For the purposes of this Cleansing, this prayer
and affirmation cycle is requested to continue for 20 days.
Our Treatment of Prosperity
Today I accept God's gift of abundance. Today everything I
am and have is increased. I identify everything I do with success. I
think affirmatively and with all my prayers I accept abundance.
Whatever I need--whenever I need it, wherever I need it, for as
long as I need it--will always be at hand. I claim that the action of
the living Spirit prospers everything I do, increases every good I
possess, and brings success to me and everyone I meet. Everything
I think about and do is animated by the Divine Presence, sustained
by the infinite Power, and multiplied by the Divine Goodness.

The Commitment:
This day (actual date) I cease believing in visible money as my supply and my
support, and I view the world of effect as it truly is...simply an out picturing of my
former beliefs. I believed in the power of money, therefore I surrendered my Godgiven power and authority to an objectified belief. I believed in the possibility of
lack, thus causing a separation in consciousness from the Source of my supply. I
believed in mortal man and carnal conditions, and through this faith gave man and
conditions power over me. I believed in the mortal illusion created by the collective
consciousness of error thoughts, and in doing so, I have limited the Unlimited. No
more! This day I renounce my so-called humanhood and claim my divine
inheritance as a Be-ing of God. This day I acknowledge God and only God as my
substance, my supply and my support.

Repeat the following statements everyday for the 20 days .


The Ten Statements of Prosperity
1. God is lavish, unfailing Abundance, the rich omnipresent substance of the Universe. This all-providing
Source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me-the Reality of me.
2. I lift up my mind and heart to be aware, to understand, and to know that the Divine Presence I AM is the
Source and Substance of all my good.
3. I am conscious of the Inner Presence as my lavish Abundance. I am conscious of the constant activity of
this Mind of Infinite Prosperity. Therefore, my consciousness is filled with the Light of Truth.
4. Through my consciousness of my God-Self, the Christ within, as my Source, I draw into my mind and
feeling nature the very substance of Spirit. This substance is my supply, thus my consciousness of the
Presence of God within me is my supply.
5. Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and
knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Divine Mind within me is my supply. My consciousness of
this Truth is unlimited; therefore, my supply is unlimited.
6. My inner supply instantly and constantly takes on form and experience according to my needs and
desires, and as the Principle of Supply in action, it is impossible for me to have any needs or unfulfilled
desires.
7. The Divine Consciousness that I AM is forever expressing its true nature of Abundance. My only
responsibility is to be aware of the Truth. Therefore, I am totally confident in letting go and letting God
appear as the abundant all-sufficiency in my life and affairs.
8. My consciousness of the Spirit within me as my unlimited Source is the Divine Power to restore the
years the locusts have eaten, to make all things new, to lift me up to the High Road of abundant prosperity.
This awareness, understanding and knowledge of Spirit appears as every visible form and experience that I
could possibly desire.
9. When I am aware of the God-Self within me as my total fulfillment, I am totally fulfilled. I am now
aware of this Truth. I have found the secret of life, and I relax in the knowledge that the Activity of Divine
Abundance is eternally operating in my life. I simply have to be aware of the flow, the radiation, of that
Creative Energy, which is continuously, easily and effortlessly pouring forth from my Divine
Consciousness. I am now aware. I am now in the flow.
10. I keep my mind and thoughts of "this world" and I place my entire focus on God within as the only
Cause of my prosperity. I acknowledge the Inner Presence as the only activity in my financial affairs, as the
substance of all things visible. I place my faith in the Principle of Abundance in action within me.

Five (5) Element Theory Juice Cleansing


We will Be Juicing Based upon the Traditional Chinese Medicine 5 Element Qi Generating Cycle. This will
allow us to increase the amount of Qi or Vital Life force Energy that the Bodys Cells can hold and produce;

Kidney/SJ (Water)
Watermelon Juice

3-Day Watermelon Cleanse

Upon rising:
6 ounces of ,watermelon juiced
lemon, juiced with the watermelon
Optional: add grated ginger, mix in blender. You can also juice the ginger and mix with
watermelon juice.
To juice the watermelon. Place watermelon in blender. Blend well. Use a cheese cloth or
nut milk bag to strain the watermelon. Mix lemon juice and watermelon together.
Optional: Use a Juicer to juice the rind. Drink the juice of the rind.
Mid-morning:
Watermelon smoothie.
To prepare watermelon smoothie: Place 2 cups of watermelon in blender or Vitamix. Blend
for 30 seconds or until watermelon is well mixed. Drink!
Optional: Add 2 tbsp. of chopped cilantro and blend along with the watermelon.

Afternoon:
2-3 cups chopped watermelon.
To prepare watermelon smoothie: Place 2 cups of watermelon in blender or Vitamix. Blend
for 30 seconds or until watermelon is well mixed. Drink!
Dinner:
Watermelon Soup.
This isnt really a soup per se, but something that can be mixed up and consumed as part
of a watermelon fast.
4 cups watermelon, seeded and cubed
Juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp. fresh mint, chopped.
1 tbsp. fresh ginger, chopped or minced
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
Place 3 cups watermelon in food processor and blend until smoothie. Dice up the remaining
2 cups of watermelon into very small pieces and add to the puree. In a separate bowl,
combine the lime juice, mint, ginger, and cardamom. Add this to the other mixture and stir
well.

Before bedtime:

6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 cups crushed ice
mint - I used the leaves from 3 sprigs
Juice it all . Add watermelon, strawberries, lime juice, mint leaves, ice
into the blender pitcher. Blend on high speed, stopping to push fruit down
if necessary. Serve & enjoy!

up the feces.
Total Body Cleanse Juice #2 Apple and Pear
2 apples
2 pears
No need to peel the apples and pears, this will add some fiber to the juice. Apple
and pear juices are great for helping the bowels move, so this is also a great
constipation remedy.
Total Body Cleanse Juice #3 Lemon Juice
2 lemons
Water to dilute
Only juice the flesh of the lemons. Add water to your taste.
This is a great juice to take on an empty stomach before breakfast. It has a great
flushing effect, and is actually very beneficial for the kidneys and liver. If you
warm it up a little it can help move the bowels even more, but dont overdo the
heat. The hotter the juice, the more the nutrients are destroyed.
Total Body Cleanse Juice #4
ACL Colon cleanse
4 carrots
1 apple
1 lemon
This juice is great for your colon and will really help jump start a colon cleanse.
Boil leaves of nettle tea with water. Let steep for a couple of minutes. Add
honey to taste. This is also a general body cleanse. Ginger tea with turmeric, orange
or lemon and maple syrup is a healing detox drink. Prepare ginger tea as directed
and add 1 tsp. turmeric powder, juice from one orange or lemon and 1 tbsp. maple

syrup.
Drink green tea as a basic body cleanse and ward off general illnesses.

Total Body Detox Drinks


1/2 pineapple,
Fresh mint leaves and
1cm of ginger.
Place ingredients in a juice extractor. Filter juice and stir. Serve immediately. Add
sugar to taste if desired. Sugar is not recommended, but if the drink is just too bitter,
a bit of sugar is fine. Take three kiwis and two grapefruits. Add to 60mL of water to
fruit. Blend all ingredients together and pour into glass.
Get 10cm of orange-rind strips and two sticks of cinnamon.
Place ingredients in a saucepan with 1L of water. Bring mixture to boil and boil for
a few minutes. Reduce the heat and boil with the saucepan uncovered. Cool and
filter. Serve immediately. Use this recipe as a liver and kidney cleanse. Mix warm
water, 2 tbsp. juice from lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and 1 tbsp. maple
syrup. Drink.

Papaya Drink
Blend a small green papaya with other fruits of choice and water. Drink this in
the morning and throughout the day. Eat alkaline-forming foods with this detox
drink to aid the cleansing process. Alkaline foods include cabbage, lettuce, spinach,
garlic, avocado, lemon, lime, tomato, watermelon, grapefruit, vegetable juice,
herbal tea, unsweetened soy milk and almond milk, sesame, pumpkin and sunflower
seeds. Sprouts, olive oil and coconut are also alkaline-forming foods.

Liver/GB (Wood)
Liver Cleanse Recipe
This juice is particularly effective if you have undertaken some light exercise
such as walking or jogging prior to the liver cleanse as this helps to get the
toxins moving out of the body and invigorates the lymph system.
After the juice I would also recommend some breathing exercises to help the
lymph flow on its way!

The Recipe for the Ultimate Liver Cleanse!

Serves 2

2 large grapefruits
4 lemons
300ml of distilled water (or filtered)
2 tablespoons of Udos Choice (or cold pressed flax oil
1 teaspoon of acidophilus
1-2 cloves of fresh garlic
2 inches of fresh root ginger
Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper!
Directions
Squeeze the juice of the grapefruit and lemon into a blender
Next, grate the garlic and the ginger, and then using a garlic press, squeeze
this into the juice
Now add the water, Udos and acidophilus powder and blend for 30 seconds
Add more ginger/garlic to taste

5 bunch Celery; with leaves, if not
wilted
5 bunch Parsley
1 bunch Cilantro
1 ea Lemon; rind and all
1 inch Ginger roots
2 medium Zucchini
1 medium Green papaya
1 medium Cucumber
3 ounce Unheated honey
12 tablespoon Coconut cream

Aajonus' Green Juice (12 Oz. Drink) Preparation


As the juice is made, pour it into a gallon container. ~ 128 ounces?
Juice 96 ounces at a time for a three-day period. This makes four 8oz. servings to
drink each day. If you want 12 oz. servings, then juice 154 ounces at a time for a threeday period.
After 92 ounces is juiced, mix 3 oz. of juice and 4 ounces of honey in an 8oz narrowtop mason jar. Screw Osterizer blender washer/blades/base on jar. Blend 5-10
seconds to liquefy honey.

Pour sweetened mix into remaining 89 ounces and gently stir. The honey helps
preserve the juices. Then, pour into (12) 8oz. glass jars, seal with Ball-jar lids and store
in the fridge.
No more than 1 tablespoon of airspace should be in each container.
My tests show that refrigerated juices stored this way retain 90 to 93% of their nutrient
value in a 78 hour period.
Always eat one tablespoon of coconut cream before drinking one serving of green
juice.

Notes
Soak salad greens in large metal bowl, in sink, filled with water and Lugol's iodine.
Shake it dry in large green plastic colander. Then juice it.
I got ~ 1 pint of juice out of reprocessing all the dregs. MUST do this.
