At SMU-DE, we believe that an

Online and E-learning was
organized at the India International
Centre, New Delhi. The conference
brought together all the learning

deeper insight into distance
education, the learning centre faculty
also undertook research in the area
of E-learning and presented papers
on the subject.
The Allied Health industry is brimming
with fresh opportunities. But which ones
are right for you? SMU-DE set out to
answer this and many other pertinent
questions at a special workshop on
Stem Cell Research and Emerging
Trends in Healthcare. At the event,
SMU-DE students were invited to attend
exclusive talks from industry experts
along with lab visits.
The workshop explored the integration
of all Allied Health Science sub-streams,
like Lab Technology, Health Information

highly interactive discussions where
students were challenged to go beyond
their textbooks and understand the

MANAGEMENT
Due to family responsibilities, I never thought I could complete my education. I joined the family business soon
after my high school and life became very hectic. Though the desire to be a graduate never diminished, I wasnt
sure if I could manage both at the same time. When a friend introduced me to the benefits of SMU-DE, I felt that
it was just made for me. With features like online support, faculty chat, student discussion groups etc. managing
work and studies was possible . I am a proud graduate today and feel that with a little effort, every dream can be
realised.
