It is the responsibility of the Supplier to install the required production capacity and to ensure the flexibility for BSH. The capacity is agreed for net deliverable products. Production and quality losses are to be calculated in addition. The Supplier needs to be able to produce and deliver the maximum demands of BSH for at least a few weeks.

Flexibility: Total Quantity by product group

Within the fixed time fence (Annex 1) possible fluctuations need to be agreed between the Supplier and BSH. On the first day after the fixed time fence demands can change. For this fluctuation of the BSH-demand the Supplier has to fulfill the following flexibility. The increases are based on the demand on the actual day. timeline after end of fixed period

After the fixed time fence the structure of the material codes can fluctuate intensively. Some variances can be postponed completely and others can be ordered. This fluctuation must be assured by the Supplier! If necessary the coverage needs to be safeguarded by safety stocks. Special safety stocks need to be agreed between the Supplier and the affected BSH-Factory. The dynamic adaptation of the safety stocks in structure, demand and quantity has to be done continuously taking into account the requirements of the customer. FIFO needs to be assured. Supplier
