I am currently a junior at the University of Idaho working on my bachelor of Ag Communications degree. Some strengths of mine include being a self-motivated hard worker. Cleanup and Finish AMS May 2011 - August 2012 (1 years 3 months) American Falls, ID Receive soil sampling equipment after welded, clean off slag, grind down welds and sharpen edges as needed. Sandblast in a blast cabinet, polish on wire wheel, part number, sticker, and place handles on other accessories with product before sending to shipping. Deliver equipment to outside product handlers for finishing. Mill Worker Van Beek Nutrition February 2008 - August 2009 (1 years 6 months) Twin Falls, ID Mixed mineral rations with computer and hand system to formula specs. Bagged minerals in 50Ib bags with sewing machine and conveyer belt. Filled 1 ton tote bags with forklift, and loaded semi-trucks with minerals. Backed and drove semi-trucks and trailers on and off scales. Received incoming mineral stock, and operated flax seed grinder. Repaired and maintained elevators and augers in mill. Tractor operator/Farm Laborer Mitchel Farms May 2006 - August 2006 (3 months) Rockland, ID Drive Steiger tractor with chisel plows, cultiweeders, and drills as implements. Mend fence, help maintain equipment and implements, and help maintain grain silos. Student Internship Elm Tree Farms January 2006 - April 2006 (3 months) Paris, KY My duties included temping all foals; give oral medicine to foals as needed, turn mares and foals out into paddocks or pastures. Then bring in all yearlings to their proper barns and feed daily hay pellet ration. Look over yearlings, take temperatures, and return all yearlings back to their paddocks once all feeding and temping was done. Then after lunch clean stalls out, bed water and feedback all stalls. Bring mares and foals in at 2:00 and all other horse need in for morning vet check. Pull out all feed buckets and water back all stalls. Odd jobs included pulling calves, building fence, driving muck wagon, and holding horses for shoer or vet Dock Worker FedEx Freight May 2005 - January 2006 (8 months) Twin Falls, ID My main job was night dock to go into the computer system and find the quickest route to send all outbound freight make trailer manifest load trailers by hand or with forklift, back trailers into dock to be loaded and move empty trailers and loose gear around. Also as an inventory member learned how to receive shipments, send shipments, and place merchandise in good order.
