2l Shows, et al. (collectively "Nordykes" or "Plaintiffs') opposethe motion. For the following reasons,

22 the Court DENIES Defendants' motion.

¿J Defendants seekto amend certain languagein the Order Granting Defendants' Motion for

24 Summary Judgement("Summary JudgmentOrder"). Specifically, Defendantsseekto amend: (l)

25 pageg, lines 7-8, which reads,"[h]ere, the County doesnot contestthat gun possessionin the
26 context of a gun show may involve certain elementsof protectedspeech"; and (2) footnote 12, which
27 reads,"the County has concededfor pu{posesof their Motion for Summary Judgmentthat gun
2 8 possessionmay constituteexpressiveconduct. . . ." (SummaryJudgmentOrder at9:7-8;9:24-28.)

rDocketNo. l7l
1 Defendantsfear that the Summary JudgmentOrder could be mistakenly readto mean the County has

2 conceded"for all time" that gun possessionin the context of a gun show may involve elementsof
a
J protectedspeech. (Defs.' Opp. at 2:8-12.)

4 Upon review of the Summary JudgmentOrder, the Court finds Defendants'proposed

5 amendmentsunnecessary.First, the sentenceon page 9 begins with the qualiffing word, "[h]ere,"
6 indicating that Defendants' proposition was for the limited purposeof making a particular argument
7 in support of their pending motion. Second, footnote 12, which immediately follows, servesto
I further qualiff the scopeof Defendants' "concession." In pertinent part, the footnote provides, "the

9 County has concededfor thepurposes of their Motionfor SummaryJudgment, that gun possession

r r o may constitute expressiveconduct . . . ." (SummaryJudgmentOrder at9:24-28) (emphasisadded.)

ã
!
ll This languagefurther clarifies that Defendants' "concession" was limited to their pending motion'

t9 Becausethe Summary JudgmentOrder indicatedthat Defendants' "concessions"were
