Bach, Richard Fiction JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL WF TBD 2014 Jonathan Livingston Seagull is an icon--a mega-bestseller celebrating the strength of the individual and the joy of finding one's way. Originally published in 1970, Jonathan Livingston Seagull was an international publishing phenomenon, spending almost 2 years atop the New York Times bestseller list. It was made into a feature film, has been translated into more than three dozen languages, and remains in print throughout the world. In 2014, Scribner will republish this classic title in a redesigned format, featuring previously-unpublished material by author Richard Bach. Bach removed this material from JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL before its first publication in 1970. Unpublished Part Four (which will follow the Parts 1-3 that made up the original Jonathan Livingston Seagull) deals with gull Jonathans legacy. This unpublished material is a fitting coda to the enduring original text, and its publication will draw worldwide attention.
