TK U!
In the Gospel this Sunday we hear of how St. Joseph responded
with quick and faithful action to a warning given him by the angel
of the Lord. Do you give God a chance to speak to you in prayer? If
so, do you respond when you hear His voice? How would it change
your life if you were more ready to hear God speak to you?

Louise House, an apartment-style transitional
housing program. Its mission is to provide a safe,
nurturing environment for homeless women and
their children so that they can heal the emotional,
physical, and spiritual wounds of homelessness
and develop skills to become self-sufficient and to secure stable
housing. The program is designed to convey a sense of dignity and
respect through which people’s view of themselves is radically
transformed. Families who would otherwise be treated with
neglect, harshness, or pity can instead experience the values of
respect, trust, and responsibility. For more information, visit

Thank you to everyone who has given so
generously of their time, talent, and financial
treasure to the ministry at the UCC. As a staff we
realize that we cannot do this alone. In fact,
without you, our ministry doesn't exist. This past
year you stepped up to help us through some
financial challenges. Now as we look to the spring
semester and the new year ahead, we ask for your
continued support and prayers so that we may serve you better and
bring more people to know the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

FR. ISAAC HECKER QUOTE
“The inconstant Christian should never be
disheartened. Every sincere intention is
meritorious. The requisite energy to gain a
victory is often obtained only after the struggles
of repeated defeats. The most fatal of all sins is
that of discouragement. Never to despair is in
itself a great virtue and bears with it the
promise of eventual victory.”
