and 2. Handwriting - Magic Caterpillar handwriting process to be followed. Letters practised are chosen from phonics programme/ on a formation basis
or on a needs basis.

Year 0/1 - measurement - time - 2 weeks. 8 weeks - number/algebra includes problem solving, mult/div from Stage 3 and fractions.
Maths Year 2 - Geometry 2D and 3D shapes - 2 weeks. 8 weeks - number/algebra includes problem solving, mult/div from stage 3 and fractions.

Social Sciences
Sharing our Planet - 10 ways to save the planet - focus interacting systems. Describe how natural features are changed and resources affected by
Science natural events and human actions.

Social Skills - school wide progamme. Skills taught are chosen by Christine (DP) on a needs basis.
Health
Cross Country running - school cross country 26 May. Winter ball games and large ball skills.
Phys Ed.
PK and C & I. Singing, listening, moving and playing. Musical elements - dynamics and simple melodic patterns.
Music
PK and C & I. Drawing and painting - continue to build on skills taught in Term 1. Printmaking - introduce e.g. PVA prints, leaf rubbings, frottage, indent
Visual Arts prints, paint prints etc.

UC and DI. Explore elements of role, time and space through dramatic play.
Drama
Maori myths and legends, Matariki - legends and celebration, waiata, counting to 10 & 20, classroom commands. Continue greetings and farewells.
Te Reo Incorporate Maori views on the environment in Sharing our Planet study.
