Kazuki YAMANAKA Business English 8 weeks

This is an active and practical Business English course. One reason why I decided to take this course was because I was sure that it would be useful in my life, especially in my future job. I want to work for a foreign company, so business English is necessary for achieving my goal. Even if I work in japan, it will be an advantage. The class includes reading, writing, listening and speaking tasks which are a good balance. We do many activities in class. Business meeting simulation role playing, for example. It was one of my favorite activities because I could use new vocabulary words and phrases that I would need to use in real-life situations. Those were words and phrases that I would normally find difficult to use in the correct context. The activities allow us to work with other class mates, and the friendly teachers give us situations and easy-to-understand expressions. Then, we discuss the topics and share our opinions. We did a negotiation simulation which I enjoyed a lot. We had to negotiate and bargain with other students about our companies. It was good because everyone was serious and encouraged each other. My English skills have developed so much during this cause and I’m happy and proud that I was able to complete the cause.
