How and for what purpose, did the United States enter the Korean War? Discuss the short, intermediate, and long term consequences of the Korean War ? Before Class on Monday: Reading packet handed out in class on Friday (Bagby; Kissinger) Day In Class Monda No School y Journal Prompt: Evaluate the following claim, “The inability of the United States to specifically articulate its national interests and foreign policy goals directly led to the onset of the Korean War.” In Class: Reading,30 minute Review Tuesda and Discussion of the readings from y packet (Bagby & Kissinger). Once complete, students will have a 20minute timed writing assignment on the journal prompt for the day. THis writing prompt should be posted to their online portfolio.
