The chardham yatra is where many people go to visit the temples of the four religious places. The four common places of chardham are yamunotri, gangotri, badrinath and kedarnath. Yamounotri – The next destination Known as the source of river Yamuna, the temple situated here is also dedicated to the deity Yamuna. It is located at a height of about 3,225 mts high. Tourists can visit the beautiful temple situated at the place which is known to be built in the 19th century. The tourists visiting here cannot only worship the almighty, but also witness this old structure. The river is considered to be holy and you can also take a dip in the river. Diya shillar, which is a rock pillar in the area, is also worshipped by many people. You will definitely cherish the trip to this area. Kedarnath will be your next destination People in thousands and lakhs visit kedarnath, where the temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. The temple here is around 1000 years older, but it is definitely a place to visit. The inside walls of the temple are beautifully carved with figures of gods and goddesses. Some of the scenes dating years back are depicted in these walls.

Shankacharya Samadhi On the back side of the temple is the smadhi of Guru Shankaracharya. People in great numbers witness his Samadhi, who is believed to have built all the four temples related to kedarnath in different parts of the country and at a young age of only 32, took Samadhi here. Vasuki tal Having a beautiful view of nature, tourists can witness vasui tal, which is situated in between the mountains and gives a gorgeous look, offering the tourists a spectacular view. The last stop – Badrinath After you have witnessed all of the three places, the last stop of the yatra is at badrinath which is situated at a height of 3122 mts. Devoted to Lord Vishnu, the templs has a height of 15 mts and has a cone shaped structure on the top. You will definitely love the look of the temple. Where to book your yatra?
