Mr. Pickle and the Tuxedo

The following story uses three-syllable words. The syllables within these three-syllable words contain various phonetic elements previously introduced.

My boss Mr. Pickle told me that I had to remember to estimate the amount of money he owed to the merchant. I told him that I must first engage an accountant if I were to perform that job. Then he had the nerve to tell me that I must wear a tuxedo to work each day if I could not do the job myself. "Fine with me," I said, "but I will assess the cost of the garment and send you a bill." "Oh no you dont," said Mr. Pickle. "Your job is to entertain me when I give you a command." "Not exactly, sir," I responded. "My job does not include dressing as a lunatic." "Mr. Jones, dont try and contradict me. You will become obsolete if you challenge my orders." "Okay, boss; my intellect informs me that on this issue I better desist." "Right you are, young man," said Mr. Pickle. "I want to emphasize that I may astonish you at times, but I will try and also be fair. Forget the tuxedo; I was kidding."

The Lumberjack Accepts the Challenge

The following story uses three-syllable words. The syllables within these three-syllable words contain various phonetic elements previously introduced.

I remember last December I did encounter a lumberjack who did organize a badminton game. The challenger to the lumberjack was an accountant with much magnetism who had been in the Olympics. I am in the industry so I did advertise the engagement. I must emphasize that that I did not overlook anything. I had an agreement with the lumberjack that we did finalize the day of the match. The match was important. The match was on satellite TV, and there was great excitement. All the attention did fascinate me. I was innocent regarding the appetite folks had to see this match. Their interest did astonish me. I admit I have a tendency to disengage from consumer concerns. So our enterprise sold merchandise to help with the financing of the badminton match. We even sold furniture and other luxury equipment. The popular match had much turbulent action. The popular lumberjack won and did captivate all.
