MENINGKATKAN KEFAHAMAN MURID TAHUN 4 BERKENAAN TOPIK HAIWAN MELINDUNGI DIRI MENGGUNAKAN KAEDAH PERSEMBAHAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF Mohd

ABSTRAK Kajian tindakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kefahaman murid-murid tahun 4 dalam topik Haiwan Melindungi Diri melalui kaedah persembahan multimedia interaktif. Seramai 40 orang responden terdiri daripada tahun 4 iaitu seramai 25 orang lelaki dan 15 orang perempuan. Tinjauan awal telah dilakukan dan didapati murid-murid tahun 4 menghadapi masalah dalam topik Haiwan Melindungi Diri. Alat-alat pengukuran seperti Praujian, Pascaujian dan borang soal selidik telah digunakan untuk mengumpul data-data bagi melengkapkan kajian tindakan ini. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan purata nilai skor bagi Ujian Pra adalah sebanyak 44.13% manakala purata nilai skor Ujian Pos adalah sebanyak 72.75%. Peningkatan purata nilai skor bagi kedua-dua ujian adalah sebanyak 28.63%. Hasil dapatan Soal selidik pula menunjukkan purata nilai skor sebanyak 90.94% yang bersetuju bahawa pembelajaran berbantukan persembahan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat terhadap subjeksains. Manakala purata nilai skor 9.06% sahaja yang tidak menyokong peryataan tersebut. Keputusan positif yang diperoleh telah membuktikan bahawa pembelajaran berbantukan persembahan multimedia interaktif dapat menarik minat murid terhadap subjeksains dan meningkatkan kefahaman murid.

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to determine how the use of Interactive Multimedia Presentation can improve year 4 pupils understanding in Science for thetopic of Animals Protect Themselves. This study consists of 40 respondents from year 4 pupils which were 25 boys and 15 girls. Initially, respondents were facing the problem in the topic Animals Protect Themselves. The Intervention technique that was been used was the Multimedia interactive presentation method. The instruments used in this study were pre and post test and questionnaires. The result obtained showed the mean score for the pre test was 44,13% while the mean score for post test was 72.75%. The result showed a greatimprovement in mean score for both pre and post test was 28.63%. The result that were obtained from questionnaire showed that the mean score for respondents who agree that the use of Interactive multimedia Presentation were 90.94% while only 9.06% respondents disagree.These positive results prove that the use of Interactive Multimedia presentation in lessons can increase pupilsinterest toward science and improve their understanding.
