Back to the Original Plan Pastor Sean Pinder My wife and I were working on a project when the Holy

Ghost said, “I want you to talk about „Back to the Original Plan.‟” You are going to see why the nest has to get shaken up sometimes. Does Jesus live in you? Then let me show you what the Lord is up to. Let‟s look at Matt. 4:23. Jesus was on the move. You read phrases like these about Jesus: “And He entered into Capernaum…;” “And He entered into Cana of Galilee…;” “And He departed from Cana of Galilee…;” “And He departed from Jericho…;” “He entered…;” “He departed…;” “He went into the church…;” “He went onto the seashore…;” “He went into the mountain…;” and “He went into the deserts…” Why do we read phrases like these about Jesus? Because He was on the move. The old folks home in the Bahamas have a good saying: “A rolling stone gathers no moss.” It does not have time to get old and dirty because it is on the move. Are you ready to get on the move? And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (Matt. 4:23) The beginning of this verse says, “And Jesus went about…” He was on the move. Is He the same? Let‟s look at another Scripture in Matt. 9:35: And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. We need to catch up with Jesus. This verse also starts out, “And Jesus went about…” The Holy Ghost is driving this point home to the body of Christ. He wasn‟t just shut up in one building; He was on the move. Let‟s look at Luke 4:43-44: And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee. That is good stuff, isn‟t it? He was moving. He was shaking things up. Let‟s go to Acts 10:38. Listen to what Peter said about Christ. He was preaching and he said: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)

“Go out quickly…into the highways and hedges. You were in that number.” Oh. We are leaving the comfort zone. “…upon this rock I will build my church. and teach all nations. 51:20). and of the Son. “In my Father‟s house…” That was the house He was talking about. He said. and. Remember the Ethiopian eunuch that Philip led to Christ? Was he a baby Christian or . 7:9). and of the Holy Ghost. We have come too far to give up on God now. “After this I beheld. “Go. Say. “…Go…” Ask someone. that the spirits are subject unto you. I do not care what the devil says. but rather rejoice. “Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war…” (Jer. God wants Heaven to be filled. and compel them to come in. 16:18). and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. but we are coming. John the Revelator saw us in Heaven! Jesus said. 28:18-19) Jesus was talking to His disciples. baptizing them in the name of the Father. it is going to happen. which no man could number…” (Rev. a little bit different than what the churches have. casting devils out. What word did He tell them? He told them. There was urgency in the voice of the master. I was in that number. (Matt. Jesus said. “Devil. you fought us. John said. People say junk like this: “Oh. Go ye therefore. He said that. What did Jesus do? He “…went about…” The Bible is simple. “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not. He was not just talking about a church building. it is going to happen. We are in that number and some more people are going to get in there as soon as we get on the move. That is why He told His disciples. “I have told them and there is still more room. huh? Jesus was on the move. John the Revelator gave us a peek on what is going to happen in Heaven. He told the servant. and seeing sinners converted to Jesus.000 people are going to make it into Heaven.” He has a big discipleship plan. The devil is nervous. a great multitude. And Jesus came and spake unto them. Jesus said. The word “prevail” means the devil will not be able to stop us from coming into any city and preaching the Gospel with the power of God.000 that came out of the Tribulation and from Israel. but if the church goes and all those people get saved. Jesus is coming with His axes. You gave us a hard time. “…That my house may be filled. This is where the Jehovah‟s Witnesses get their false doctrine that says only 100. that my house may be filled” (Luke 14:21. Jesus said. because your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20).” The master got mad. he saw the 100. “What are you waiting on? Go!” The servant who was sent out to bid people to come to the wedding feast came back to the master of the house and he said. lo. healing the sick. who is going to disciple the people?” Let me ask you a question.” Ther e is no stopping us now. we‟re coming. saying. All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. however. first. Praise God! Our names are written. Are you ready? God said. 23). Hell is shaking right now. Then. “Go out quickly…” (Luke 14:21).

“But God. I said some time ago that our ministry would have a crusade in Iraq. “…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”? God is not going to let one devilish man hold up His work. and then shall the end come” (Matt. People who do not want to move with God will find all kinds of excuses. the sick were healed and demons were cast out wherever she ministered. God used to send an angel with a Bible to her in her sleep. She became a powerful woman of God. Do you think I am afraid when Jesus said.” God said. When she felt God‟s call as a 14-year-old youngster. look no further. Sammy could not read or write anything. “Lord. 19:26). She would not know “A” if it was the size of a church building! She did not know “A” from “Z. When God called this woman.” The next night. I‟m not eloquent in speech.. He taught her how to read it! I have a friend in Bimany. like. she could not read. and teach all nations…” Who did He say to teach? “…All nations…” You mean Iraq. Tell Him. Within the space of two years. She did not know how to read—she only had a second-grade education. You are without excuse. My mom had this missionary friend whom God called to the ministry at age 14. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations. “That‟s committing spiritual abortion.not? Do you know the Holy Ghost took Philip and carried him away? Who discipled that Ethiopian eunuch? The Holy Ghost is all-powerful.” or “E” from “W.” “Here am I. Send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Moses said. that brother could read any Scripture in the Bible and preach the paint off the church walls! “. Here am I. she said at first. after she answered the call. “But Lord. He is calling us.” “A” from “Y. so that we could go in and preach to Iraq. Who is going to disciple them? The Holy Ghost is in charge of this thing. “Go ye therefore. it was only for a couple of weeks. he shall teach you all things…” (John 14:26). “…the Holy Ghost. too? That is why God put Saddam Hussein out of business. But Sammy came out of prison one time and the Holy Ghost got a hold of him.” She did not know anything. Sammy was a thief and a criminal all his life. He used to stay in jail. Don‟t you think the Holy Ghost is powerful enough to take care of somebody? Jesus said. who made your mouth?” He said. Bahamas whose name is Sammy. an angel started coming to her in her sleep with a Bible. Do you know any people like that? Every time he got out. “I will teach your mouth what to say. He gave his heart to Jesus at about age 30.” Then Jesus confirmed it when He said.. “All nations” includes Iraq. . Lord. With God all things are possible” (Matt. “Moses. whom the Father will send in my name.” That is a bunch of nonsense. Lord. 24:14). The angel taught her how to read. I can‟t read.

here comes Mama. tries to get comfortable. “You think that was bad? Watch this!” She shakes the little baby off a couple hundred feet in the air! The little eagle is thinking. She goes to lay down again. “Ah. and of the Son. The little eagle starts flapping. This time. “I can fly!” The baby eagle did not know she had all those muscles in there. Tell someone. 28:20). “Let me go sleep on Mama‟s wing.” “Teaching them to [obey] all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” He just finished commanding His disciple s to go into all the world. “Teaching them to [obey] all things whatsoever I have commanded you. He also told them. Everybody has their part to play. Then Mama does it the fourth time and the fifth time. We are saved as a result of the apostles preaching Christ and Him crucified. He wants you to know that you can fly! The little baby eagle still did not get the point. So Mama spreads her wings out. “AAAH!” Mama says. She did not know she could fly until Mama . The little baby eagle says.” This is not just for the missionary group in your denomination. “Teach them to obey all things. “Is Mama going nuts?!” the baby is thinking. Every time the little baby goes to sleep. God is trying to teach you that you have two wings. There are nothing but prickles in there. even unto the end of the world. Then she drops the baby again. so Mama carries her up and shakes her off the third time. I am with you always. this is one of the things they need to know: they must obey every single thing that I have commanded you. the baby eagle opens her wings and SWOOSH! “I can fly!” she says. “Teaching them…” Who were “them”? Those who were going to get saved through the apostles‟ message.” The minute she climbs onto Mama‟s feathers. Did you catch what I said just now? Even if you have a job. Jesus told His disciples.” Look at the next verse: “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and. That word “observe” means “obey. baptizing them in the name of the Father. “This is it!” Just before that baby eagle splatters on to a big rock. Amen” (Matt. He was talking to the body of Christ! He said. God can make a way that you can take a missionary trip. “Aah!” She gets stuck there. Mama dives from off of the cliff.” The little baby eagle. He said. too.” “Go ye into all the world” is not optional.So. Mama‟s wings are nice. but there are no more feathers in the nest. “The believers who are gonna get saved through your message. “Aah!” She gets stuck here.” What did He tell the apostles? “Go into all the world. Who was He talking to? The entire body of Christ. “She‟s trying to kill me!” God is not trying to kill you. “Go into all the world and teach all nations. lo. and of the Holy Ghost. Swoosh! She picks the little eagle up and takes her on a second trip. He said. fluffy and feathery!” the baby eagle says. after the mama takes all the feathers out of the nest.

the disciples were locked up in a room. “I‟m going to stir the nest up. and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost. You cannot see Jesus and stay the same. and in all Judaea.said. I‟m going to force you back to my original plan. after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem. Where did Jesus tell them to go? “…Jerusalem. They had gotten full of the Holy Ghost and they had gotten the power of God. and in Samaria.” Let‟s go to Acts chapter 8. So God said. “I am alive!” So. 28. they were filled with the Holy Ghost. They were scared. Ye shall be my witnesses. and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Have you ever seen what dynamite does? This word means “dynamite power. the Bible says. He said. after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” What is going to happen? He repeats Matt. “You‟re only planning on staying in Jerusalem? I didn‟t give you all this power just to stay in one city. except the apostles. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem. You may say. (Acts 8:1) Thank God for Saul. and 3. and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Ye shall receive.000 got saved. “…Then were the disciples glad. But they had overcome their greatest fears because they realized that Jesus was alive.” You can become comfortable. Then. Let me show you what happened here. and in all Judaea. but they did something. when they saw the Lord” (John 20:20).” Did you catch that? It just explodes everywhere it goes! “But ye shall receive power.000 got saved. Even in a move of God.” They . and in all Judaea. He preached again and about 5. you have to understand. I‟m going to force you into my will.” That word “power” right there means “dynamo. The sick were being healed. “…And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem…” Where was the church? “At Jerusalem. and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria. all of a sudden. “This is nice!” God was killing folks for them for lying—He killed Ananias and Sapphira—and the apostles thought. Before Jesus had risen from the dead.” See. where? “…Both in Jerusalem. They got relaxed. This is Jesus talking to His disciples: “ But ye shall receive power. after they saw Him. what? “…Ye shall receive power. you can become comfortable and relaxed. Let‟s go to Acts 1:8.” Those disciples only stayed in Jerusalem. “This is cool. “Why me? Why me? Why me?” Why not you? Maybe it is because God wants us back in His original plan. and in Samaria.” In Acts chapter 2. And Saul was consenting unto his death. and in Samaria. Jesus came into the room. Peter‟s shadow was healing people! So the apostles thought. Saul was consenting unto Stephen‟s death because th ey stoned him to death. “Let me shake you off for a couple of seconds.” So the Lord said.

They saw the same group of people every Sunday. They said. Where was the church? Only “at Jerusalem. Did you ever think about that? Why did He have to send for Peter? Because the disciples were sleeping! Peter went to fall asleep on the rooftop. „…Jerusalem . I am talking about spiritual sickness. and in all Judaea. going from house to house. holler. and in Samaria. He said. but they that are sick” (Matt. They saw the power of God. and in all Judaea.were sleeping. they would have rotted in Jerusalem. So they started going through the same routine in Samaria. but sinners to repentance” (Mark 2:17). I said. way. but then they stopped there and started having church again. They know I scream. I like this group of people! They are nice!” Now. they don‟t care.” The rest of the world was about to perish. except the apostles.‟ I have to stir this nest again!” Remember Acts 10? God had to appear to a sinner named Cornelius and send for Peter. throw chairs. and hang from off the lights. to wake up and get back to the original plan! The disciples were sleeping. through hard times. “No. and praising the Lord. etc. breaking bread daily. “…I came not to call the righteous. Lord! God forced them through persecution. “Jerusalem. Burger King. “”…They that be whole need not a physician. they were the visionaries. and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” But they were comfortable having church in Jerusalem. I‟m going to mess the whole program up to help you to realize that Jesus came „…to seek and to save that which was lost‟ (Luke 19:10). I am not just talking about physical sickness. ” They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions. Popeye‟s. Where did Jesus tell them to go? First. Samaria…” Where did they stop? They stopped in Samaria. where? “Of Judaea and Samaria. and they got comfortable. “They still don‟t catch the drift! I said. eating Kentucky Fried Chicken. I like this group: they accept me. and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria. God was thinking. except the apostles.” The apostles were the guys in charge. He was tired and . They were comfortable. Are you hearing me? God said. breaking bread.” Oh. watch what happened. If hard times had not come. Some sick people are out here who are about to die and go to hell in their sins. “We don‟t want to bother with anybody else. „…Jerusalem. McDonald‟s. “I‟m going to stir the nest up. They went as far as Judaea and Samaria. “…There was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem. 9:12). So where were they scattered? “…Throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria.” then “Judaea. do cartwheels. they like me. So God said.” Jesus said. They started going from house to house. I didn‟t tell you just Jerusalem. and unto the uttermost part of the earth‟. Jesus said. and in Samaria.

6:33). and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. but the apostles were sleeping and still hanging out in Jerusalem. You would think they would have caught a hint.hungry and they were taking long getting the food ready. Watch God stir the nest up again! He will force you into His will if He has to. God said. You are sleeping!” Are you catching this? I know that is a good passage of Scripture. The disciples were sleeping! The rest of the world was about to go to hell. Isn‟t that a mess? They were so comfortable. and the apostles were sleeping and having church. and his righteousness.” They preached to the Jews only. but God used persecution to shove them from out of Jerusalem. who? “…Unto the Jews only. and they were still only looking for Jews! Isn‟t that amazing? They were comfortable. “Hey. amen? Now. God will even use that to get to you. “I obeyed God. Isn‟t that amazing? They were thinking. That is the key: we have to seek the Kingdom first. I‟m sending somebody to come get you. “Us four. Who am I to withstand God?” Then the church finally gave in to it. They know us. and no more! We‟re happy. Peter went up onto the rooftop and he fell into a trance. “Get on the move! Go into all the world and preach the Gospel!” . look at Acts 11:19: Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice. Peter said. God said. God said. these are our people. They were saying. “I told all of you to get on the move!” Guess what happened when Cornelius and his family got saved? The church got mad! “Where are all these Gentiles coming?” They got mad at Peter. preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. so God had to save the Apostle Paul and commission him to go to the Gentiles. “Yeah. they did not want to be bothered with anybody else. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God. and Antioch. Jesus sent them into all the world. and Cyprus. Look at what they did.” They were comfortable. They were preaching the word to none but. we like it like this!” Watch this: let‟s go to Acts 11.
