WHY IS ..
WHY IS ..
Several Lakh Crore of Scams During the UPA Regime have ruined Indias Economic Potential.
Internal Security
In the last few years, there have been several Maoist attacks on Police Forces leading to death of several hundred police personnel. Maoists have killed several Police personnel in the red corridor stretching from Andhra Pradesh in the south, to Bihar further north. In spite of the continuous mayhem created by Maoists, the UPA government continues to have a kid glove approach towards them. There is so much disenchantment and frustration among the Central Police Forces like CRPF and BSF, that in the last few years more than 51,000 Central Police Personnel took voluntary retirement. In spite of being at the receiving end and being one of the worst hit countries India has no coherent policy to tackle internal security issues.
IMPACT OF UPAS WEAK FOREIGN POLICY AND TIMID APPROACH TOWARDS HOSTILE NEIGHBORS
Beheading Indian Army Jawans and shelling along the Line of Control. China has intruded into Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh region Massive anti India sentiments in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal as well as in Maldives. Change in demographics and creation of major social turmoil. Severe shortage of various critical equipment including submarines, combat aircrafts etc. 5 crore illegal Bangladeshis live in India and have forcibly taken over the livelihood of Indians.
Unprecedented level of infiltration from across the borders especially from Bangladesh
Lack of will and intent on the part of the UPA government to push back the illegal infiltrators and stop fresh infiltration
UPA Government has severely restricted power of BSF to fire at the infiltrators
The Indian government has weakened the Indian Armed Forces by severely cutting defence expenditures
Investors confidence is at an all time low. Indias fiscal deficit, current account deficit and interest rates are so high that it is impossible for any business to flourish. Unlike China, which has established itself into one of the biggest economies of the world today, India continues to falter. Nepotism and crony capitalism have created stagflation in the country. On one hand new jobs are not being created because of recession while corruption and cartelisation has made the food prices go sky high. In the last one decade more than 2 lakh farmers have committed suicide even when food prices continue to rise. As per NCRB, 46 farmers commit suicide every day in India. Unsustainable populist policies like MNREGA and FSB will only help middlemen and further add on to the current deficit. Massive corruption, red tape, bureaucratic hurdles, nepotism, lack of political intent for second generation reforms have created a situation where foreign investment has completely dried out and many Indian companies are preferring to invest abroad. The current UPA government can be called the most corrupt government in the history of independent India.
diarchy
Inability to contain corruption and create vibrant policy directives for the nation
In spite of economic sanctions and global economic meltdown, NDA regime maintained high rate of growth.
The NDA regime revolutionised infrastructure development through the National Highway Development Programme.
The NDA government took the decisive geopolitical and military steps to conduct the nuclear test in the face of increasing Chinese threats.
Narendra Modi led Gujarat Government has not just made Gujarat a magnet of investment but has also excelled in terms of governmental efficiency in decision making and service deliverance which has been appreciated by none other than Indias Planning Commission. Had it not been for Narendra Modis initiative and strong rebuttal, possibilities were high that UPA Government would have acceded to the Pakistan request for handing over part of the strategic Sir Coris Creek in the Rann of Kutch to Pakistan. Today India needs a leader with a national vision and an ability to galvanise the view of both the youth and the elderly, of both the conservative and the liberal. Today India needs a leader who has the conviction to rise above petty caste politics and politics of regionalism and take Indian nationalism to a new level.
Today India needs a leader who has the conviction and the authority to put national interest ahead of petty political and vote bank interests. Today India needs a leader who has the conviction of taking India to newer heights of glory without becoming a stooge of the WEST.
Today India needs a leader who has the conviction and the gumption to weave the past and the future, to embed traditionalism and modernity to give shape to a NEW IDEA OF INDIA. Today India needs a leader who can integrate agriculture and industry for mutual and national growth.
