It is the year of our 50th BISS meeting in Bremen. 50 years ago Joachim Weiss started the BISS meeting and since then it has been an opportunity for all of us to get together in Bremen and to share common interests and meet for special training programs and lectures. 50 years is indeed a very special time, which we would like to celebrate in a special way. The next BISS meeting is going to take place from the 21st to the 23rd of January 2014, this time not at the BEGO headquarter but at the Dorint Park Hotel in Bremen. We would like to invite you to our special gala dinner on the 22nd of January where we will enjoy Palais im Park in the Dorint Park Hotel. Under the motto Expedition Future we would like to exchange ideas about how we see our role and developements of the future. Estimados amigos y socios, 2014 ser un ao muy especial para BEGO ya que celebraremos la edicin nmero 50 de la BISS en Bremen. Hace ya 50 aos que Joachim Weiss organiz la primera reunin BISS, y desde entonces ha sido una excelente oportunidad para todos nosotros de compartir, en Bremen, intereses comunes y de asistir a conferencias y talleres especializados. 50 aos es sin duda un momento muy importante y nos gustara celebrarlo de una manera especial. La prxima reunin BISS no va a tener lugar en la sede de BEGO sino en el Dorint Park Hotel de Bremen del 21 al 23 de enero de 2014. Nos gustara invitarles a nuestra Cena de gala el 22 de enero, que se celebrar en el "Palais im Park" dentro del Dorint Park Hotel. El lema de la BISS de este ao es Expedition Future (Expedicin al futuro). Queremos compartir infinidad de ideas e informacin acerca de cmo vemos el futuro, sobre cmo se va a desarrollar y cul va a ser nuestro papel. Estaramos encantados de tenerles aqu y esperamos que todos se unan a nosotros para la 50 reunin BISS.

Sar lanno in cui festeggeremo 50 anni di BISS a Brema. 50 Anni fa Joachim Weiss cre il primo incontro BISS, e da allora questa si presenta come unopportunit per tutti noi per riunirci ogni anno a Brema condividendo interessi comuni e partecipando a interessanti training e conferenze formative. Certo, 50 anni sono un anniversario importante, e noi desideriamo festeggiarlo in modo speciale. Il prossimo incontro BISS non si terr nella sede di Brema ma presso il Dorint Park Hotel, sempre a Brema, dal 21. Al 23 Gennaio 2014. Desideriamo invitarvi alla nostra cena di gala il 22. Gennaio dove saremo ospiti del Palais im Park nel Dorint Park Hotel.

Chers amis et partenaires, 2014 est une anne spciale pour lentreprise BEGO. Cest la cinquantime fois que le congrs BISS aura lieu Brme. Il y a cinquante ans, Joachim Weiss a organis la premire runion, et depuis ce temps-l, cest une occasion pour nous tous de nous rencontrer Brme, afin de partager nos intrts communs, de participer des formations spciales ainsi qu' des confrences. En effet, cinquante ans reprsentent une trs longue priode, et nous aimerions clbrer cet vnement avec vous. Bremen is one of the leading centres in Europe for space travel. The European contribution to the International Space Station (ISS) was built at EADS Astrium. The ISS is in orbit some 400 kilometres above Earth, so delivering supplies is a real challenge for engineers. How do water and food get to the astronauts? And how do people live, sleep, and carry out research in zero gravity? Answers to these and many other questions are provided in a replica of the Columbus module. You can also see parts being constructed for the Ariane rockets that launch satellites into orbit, and find out how much a litre of milk weighs on the surface of the moon.

The next generation of dentists as digital natives what does this mean?
The latest digital developments as well as the new educational and specialization possibilities lead not only to a different understanding of dentistry but also to changed life expectations among the new generation of dentists. Strong motivation, well set personal goals as well as the focus on a good work / life balance are some of the aspects that characterize this generation. How to understand and motivate the new generation of dentists are the questions this lecture will deal with.

Born and raised in Hamburg, Dr. Constantin von See is an oral surgeon and researcher at the Medical School Hannover and a visiting professor for oral surgery, implantology and radiology at the University Vienna in Austria. Teaching and lecturing represent a special passion for him because they give him the possibility to motivate and generate enthusiasm among young dentists. In the past he worked as a military oral surgeon in Afghanistan and in the navy, where he learned the importance of team building and of adapting clinical pathways to different surroundings. In todays fast changing world, in which the internet and social media bring about new opportunities for digital clinical pathways, he considers new educational programs as particularly important. As a matter of fact his work focuses at the moment on technical development and communication opportunities.

How to rock your team in the future
Richard de Hoop uses music as a metaphor and a source of inspiration for businesses and interactions within them.
