Task 1. Design and document an addressing scheme/

Step 1. Design an addressing scheme/ 2ased on the networ requirements shown in the topology' design an appropriate addressing scheme. Starting with the largest 3A+' determine the si4e of each subnet you will need for the given host requirement. After the addresses have been determined for all the 3A+ subnets' assign the first available address space to the 5A+ lin between 2* and 67. Assign the second available address space to the 5A+ lin between 67 and 22.

8(ote. .emember that the interfaces of networ devices are also host I) addresses and are included in the above addressing requirements.9 Step *. Document the addressing scheme/ :se the blan spaces on the topology to record the networ addresses in dotted1decimal;slash format. :se the table provided in the printed instructions to document the I) addresses' subnet mas s and default gateway addresses. 0or the 3A+s' assign the first I) address to the router interface. Assign the last I) address to the )! 0or the 5A+ lin s' assign the first I) address to 67.

Task *. Select e0uipment and cable devices/

Step 1. Select the necessary e0uipment/ Select the remaining devices you will need and add them to the wor ing space inside )ac et (racer. :se the labels as a guide as to where to place the devices. Step *. %inish cabling the devices/ !able the networ s according to the topology ta ing care that interfaces match your documentation in (as *.

Task +. Apply a basic configuration/

Step 1. Configure the routers/ :sing your documentation' configure the routers with basic configurations including addressing. :se cisco as the line passwords and class as the secret password. :se <=### as the cloc rate. Step *. Configure the PCs/ :sing your documentation' configure the )!s with an I) address' subnet mas ' and default gateway.

Task 1. Test connectivity and e2amine the configuration/

Step 1. Test connectivity/ .I) routing has already been configured for you. (herefore' you should have end1to1end connectivity. !an )!* ping )!2> ????????
