Thyme and Rice Pilaf | Rice | Foods

Thyme and Rice Pilaf 1 cup long grain white rice 2tbs cooking oil 2 cups chicken stock

3 tbs fresh Thyme Sauté uncooked rice in oil over medium heat until lightly brown. Stir continuously being careful it does not burn. Add chicken stock and thyme. Cover pan and simmer for 15-20 mins (or as long as rce takes to become fluffy after absorbing all the stock). Stir rice with a wooden fork and serve hot. Serves 4.
