Recruitment
This semester, the chapter was at the forefront of the Fraternities through recruitment. The chapter recruited a 22 man pledge class, the fourth largest on campus, which led to the initiation of 14 new brothers.

Homecoming
The chapter participated in Homecoming 2013 with the ladies of the Racer Girls dance team, and the theme of the float was in remembrance of Ordway Hall. Tent city saw many alumni return to campus to participate in the festivities and the chapter saw its largest attendance in recent years, which we hope to increase next homecoming. Next year the chapter will be participating in Homecoming with the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi.

Fall 2013
! The semester started out great for the chapter, with an all summer push for recruitment at orientations leading to the fourth largest pledge class on campus. Michael Ayalon was featured as our guest speaker at Smoker at the end of Rush week and spoke on behalf of the chapters accomplishments and drive moving forward. This influx of new members has put the chapter on a hopeful path towards most improved chapter for the next convocation, and has helped push us to excel in every aspect of our day to day operations. ! ! Fall Fest
This years Fall Fest Philanthropy marked the events 24th anniversary, culminating with $1200 raised. for the Sean Feliciano Amazing Day Foundation for Suicide Prevention

years, leading to 3 straight years of top 2 GPA’s and the annual growth of the chapter. The new members were crucial in the events we put on and learned under the watch of New Member Educator Evan McPeak. ! ! Moving forward the chapter is focusing on its scholarship in another successful semester, as well as gearing up for another successful recruitment session in the Spring, the dates of which are January 22nd through the 27th. Mid"Year Leadership conference will be January 31st to February 2nd and will see the President, Vice President, and Recruitment Chairmen head to St. Louis for the annual conference. ! ! The chapter has just elected new o#cers for the next term, which will be Sage " Josh Johnston, 2nd Counselor " Evan McPeak, 3rd Counselor " Matt Jones, 4th Counselor " Aaron Rowland, 1st Counselor " Tyler Pippin, and Herald " Caleb Ellis. Summer Reunion 45
This years summer reunion marked the 45th anniversary of the event and was celebrated for 45 great years of the Gamma Upsilons triumphs at Murray State University. Executive Director Michael Ayalon and Director of Alumni services Jason Beck from the Executive Office, as well as Jason Hinson-Nolan, prior Greek Advisor of Murray State University, were in attendance to speak on behalf of the chapters achievements in the last year. They offered great advice for the chapter moving forward and their presence was greatly appreciated.

Donations
Moving forward into the new year, the chapter will be invested in many different philanthropies, community service projects, social events, conferences, and much more that is financially taxing on the chapter.
