VP of Finance Bhojwani: Close to $3,000. Representative Ortiz: Did they provide an itemized list with the budget? VP of Finance Bhojwani: Yes, they provided a detailed list.
Advisor Robison: There has been a change that because Seattle U is tax-exempt there is a limit to how many raffles we can hold every year. Currently, we must purchase a license in order to do so. Now they don’t have this avenue for fundraising and only discovered this last week. Representative Huey: They demonstrated a lot of responsibility in fiscal budgeting. New Business REPA 20140129 SUSS Forum Approval (PAB) Action - All coming out of PAB’s budget currently - The budget is mostly going toward providing food necessary - Questions about the salient themes and big data points will be asked of Father Sundborg and Michele Murray - The questions from Father Steve and Michele Murray will be fielded by SGSU members - Students will be able to write and ask questions after the presentation
Advisor Robison: What chance will Father Steve and Michele Murray have to reflect on the questions? President Chalmers: The questions will be open to everyone. At the beginning we will have reflections on the survey. Executive VP Barnes: Is there any logistical support you need? President Chalmers: Handling the front table and taking the question sheets President Chalmers seeks a motion to approve the forum to be an SGSU event with full confidence that the Presidential Advisory Board can make any adjustments necessary. President Chalmers: For the first and third I feel that we should add for accountability. It is important to have measurable outcomes. Executive VP Barnes: We would have to go into joint session where executives can vote and since we are not in that session we are not voting on this tonight, but discussing.
