Absence Policy:
1. Being absent for one period equals one
Absent mark. One class is counted as
two class hours.

2. You are not allowed to be absent for more

than 4 successive classes (8 successive
hours) in one subject. Otherwise, your
grade will be zero for that subject in that
term. However, you must still continue to
attend that subject class.

3. If your total absences exceed 33 classes

(66 class hours), then you will be expelled
from the whole program.

4. Any excused absences will not be

accepted for removing you from the
dismiss or denial list.

5. Any excused absences will not affect your

grades or assessments. Only certificates
from government hospitals or from private
hospitals with verifications from the Health
Affairs Department are accepted.
Certificates from private clinics will not be

Portfolio:
Students are responsible for creating a
portfolio: a record of the work they have
done in class and the progress they have
made. Each week, beginning in Week 2,
students will add three samples from their
RW works and other three samples from
their CS works. At the end of each 7-week
term, students will be assessed on their

?How can you solve your problems

.
.

.

.

If you face any problems in your program,

please talk to your teachers first. If the
problem cannot be resolved, you should
speak to the Site Director after making an
appointment with the administrative staff.
The Site Director is responsible for all
academic and attendance issues.
However, if you face a major problem in
your program, you can submit a report in
Arabic to the Department Head: the
Supervisor from TVTC in your institution.
The Department Head and the Site Director
will discuss your case and take the
appropriate action.

.
