Commercial HVAC Installation Guidelines Both the Guidelines for Energy-Efficient Commercial Unitary HVAC Systems and the accompanying White Paper can be downloaded from the CEE’s site. The Guidelines provide best practices, selection criteria, and details of components and systems. Electrostatic Discharge Association (ESDA) ESDA promotes the theory and practice of electrostatic discharge avoidance through standards developments, educational programs, publications, and certification. Several of ESDA’s standards are available for download at no charge. http://www.esda.org/ Energy Design Resources. HVAC Design EDR provides access to resources to facilitate and educate building professionals in the design and operation of energy efficient buildings. The HVAC Design category includes design briefs, guidelines, and design software tools that cover a variety of efficient HVAC design techniques and technologies. http://www.energydesignresources.com/category/heating-vent-ac/ Energy Smart Data Center. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory This is an overview of PNNL’s Energy Smart Data Center project. This research project addresses data center’s power generation, conversion, distribution and cooling issues. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory This site is a portal to an abundance of research information, Best Practice Guidelines, benchmarking tools, an annotated bibliography, technical papers, articles, and performance standards for energy efficient equipment and practices for high-tech facilities. http://hightech.lbl.gov/datacenters.html High Performance Data Centers: A Design Guidelines Sourcebook This 63-page design guideline was developed by LBNL and PG&E.
