Personal Statement

I am a very confident, out-going person, who is always hard-working and can talk to people both inside and outside of work. My desire is to run my own restaurant, which I have done for the last three years but due to financial reasons was forced to give it up. I am a very good team player and can motivate my team to work to a very professional level. I always enjoy my work (although some may find that hard to believe at times) but I feel I always put 110% into everything I set my mind to and always see results.

I opened my own bar and restaurant with two floors. 1st floor seating 100 covers and lower floor seated areas for a public bar. We served Spanish food of which I made the menu for and had numerous entertainment throughout the week, including karaoke which became very successful. I had 15 floor staff and 2 chefs. Unfortunatley we had to close due to personal financial issues. I have listed people on my references if any questions are needed to be answered.

This is a new built so we are constantly training staff. I am at present training the kitchen and a new head chef. The reason I am looking else where is because I need a more challenging job as the site is only a community pub and very quite.
