writing ANONYMOUS REX in 1999 -- the rst in what soon became a series of novels including CASUAL REX and HOT AND SWEATY REX. In between, Eric penned the novel MATCHSTICK MEN, the lm adaptation of which -- along with his TV adaptation of ANONYMOUS REX -- solidied Erics desire to dive deeper into those mediums. Eric teamed-up with Garrett Lerner to also co-write the lm adaptation of his book THE REPOSSESSION MAMBO, which eventually became REPO MEN. Since then, Eric has written both original and adapted scripts for lm and television -- often using his own novels as source material (such as with CASSANDRA FRENCHS FINISHING SCHOOL FOR BOYS) as well as the works of others (such as Erics adaptation of John Searles STRANGE BUT TRUE).
