SPRING BREAK Camp Williams: NOT Available Monday, March 10th Spring Term Begins

Through the generous donations from The Williams School community, our inventory of iPads continues to increase. iPads have been a valuable instructional tool for teachers and have shown themselves to be effective as content enrichment sources, platforms for skills development, communication facilitator, and academic organizers. Currently, every classroom in grades K- 5 have classroom sets of six (6). Sixth grade has a classroom set of twelve (12) available to them. In addition, our 7th and 8th grade students will be assigned an iPad during the entire school day to be used in every classroom setting. The school will continue to work toward a one-ipad for every student deployment.

The Williams School 9th Annual Biography Day

Monday Assembly, February 24, 2014 During the month of February classes spend time appreciating biographies of notable people who have made or are making significant contributions to history. Each lower school student will read a biography and/or research a particular person. During Assembly on Monday, February 24, the school will culminate our biography study with our 9th Annual Biography Day. Our students come to school that morning dressed representing this person for a Big-Little Assembly. We encourage improvising with whatever is at home to somehow help create an outfit that somehow represents the person. Please feel free to call or email Beth Miller with any questions!
