Explanation of Values in Rightmost Five Columns Above Column "Fit": "Sect1": Description "Loss" = Static pressure loss through the indicated fitting. "Equip" = User-entered loss through central equipment (supply main trunk only). "Add.L" = User entered additional static pressure loss. "F.Tot" = Total of all the fitting static pressure losses. For supply main trunk, also includes loss through central equipment and any loss carried from return system. "Dynam" = Total of all the dynamic losses, which includes everything but the frictional loss. "Dynam" = Total of the dynamic losses, carried from bottom of previous column. "Fric" = Static pressure loss due to the inside surface roughness (friction). "Total" = Total of the dynamic and friction losses. "Vel.P" = Cumulative loss in velocity pressure. For return, velocity pressure of downstream runout with highest static pressure minus that of this trunk. For supply, main trunk velocity pressure minus that of this trunk. "Stat" = Cumulative loss of static pressure. For return, sum of the loss of all ducts in route starting with downstream runout with highest static pressure through this trunk. For supply, sum of all upstream trunk losses plus this trunk's loss. "Total" = Cumulative velocity pressure loss plus cumulative static pressure loss. "Veloc" = Velocity pressure. "Stat" = Static pressure available. For return, at entrance of duct. For supply, at exit. "Total" = Velocity pressure plus static pressure available.

Note: Return side point values are at entrance of duct, while supply side points are at exit. When a return system is present, an additional return side point named [Fan Entrance] is drawn in the graph to show the static pressure available at the entrance of the fan. When a supply system is present, and an additional supply side point named [Fan Exit] is drawn to show the static pressure available at the exit of the fan.
