CONGRESSIONAL POKER CLASSIC TEAM & INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The concept is simple. The Congressional Poker Classic combines an eight-player team format with an individual championship and raises the stakes by assigning each team two senators or congressmen and suddenly its Game on!, as they battle it out against each other in search of the coveted Congressional Poker Classic trophy. The two tier scoring system rewards players by using a typical tournament structure to determine the top individual finishers and a points system that determines the winning team. All players compete individually for the Congressional Poker Classic Championship Bracelet and other amazing prizes. Teams compete for one of three team prizes and the title of Kings of Capital Hill and Team Champions of the Congressional Poker Classic as well as bragging rights as the best poker players on the Hill. Each eliminated player is given a score based on their finish. The team with the highest overall score wins the team portion of the tournament. Best of all, players can add to their teams chips stacks during the first five levels by donating to support the troops and grabbing as many of the high value Power Chips to significantly add to their chip stacks.

CONGRESSIONAL POKER CLASSIC TEAM SCORING RULES

Each individual eliminated will have their Score Card endorsed by the Tournament Director and assigned a score. They must proceed to the points system scoring station to ensure that their points are officially added to the team and individual place rosters. It is each team members responsibility to collect his/her card with the appropriate place number once eliminated. A total of three teams will qualify for Congressional Poker Classic team prizes. The team with the highest number of points wins the team title and champion team prize package.
