The XDi200 XVT diesel is highly efficient and clean burning. Maximum torque is provided over the widest possible rpm range for better acceleration when starting out and when passing.

ENGINE

The Actyon is powered by a third-generation turbocharger diesel with CDPF output of 138ps. With a multi-injection system and thorough noise and vibration dampening of the powertrain, the Actyon runs much quieter than other small SUVs. Also, the Actyon with 2.3 litre petrol engine is ready for your run.

The 5-speed manual offers smooth and responsive shifting action, while a dual-mass flywheel has been included to reduce noise and vibration.

6-speed automatic transmission

Also, the 2.3 litre petrol engine of 150ps by Mercedes technology is available. The eco-friendly engine is conformed to the Euro 4 standards. 6-speed automatic transmission is optimally tuned for high-performance XVT engine; Power Mode is used to obtain maximum output whilst Winter Mode provides greater safety on slippery or icy roads. (4-speed automatic transmission is applied to those countries with particular demands.)

Double-wishbone suspension in the front is coupled with 5-link suspension in the rear for a smoother ride than you get from many passenger cars when on the road. The suspension system also effectively disperses the severe jolts encountered off the road, helping to prolong vehicle life.

Airbags in front and rear

Dual airbags are provided for the driver's and front passenger's seats to provide supplemental protection. Curtain airbags are deployed for both seat rows to help minimize head injuries, keep all occupants in the cabin and broken glass out in the event of an accident.

Always expecting the unexpected

The latest automotive electronics monitor vehicular status under constantly changing conditions. If the driver is in danger of losing control, the onboard computer takes over to adjust vehicle speed and balance, engine output, brake force and steering angle so that the vehicle remains on its intended course.

Seatbelt pretensioner and load limiter

The seatbelt automatically tightens at the onset of a collision to keep the occupant firmly in place, reducing the possibility of injury from striking the steering wheel or some other interior surface. Immediately after, the load of the seatbelt is decreased steadily to relieve any excessive pressure on the occupant. The seatbelt reminder always warns you by the light on the board when you forget to buckle up the belt in the car for your safety.

When HDC is activated, the vehicle will advance down steep gradients as a set low speed. The driver does not need to apply the brakes and can concentrate fully on steering, for a smoother, more easily controlled descent.

The Electronic Stability Program prevents wheels from slipping and the driver from under-steering or over-steering.
