Half-fill the beaker with water. Fill the 50 cm3 measuring cylinder with water. Invert it over the water, with the open end under the surface of the water in the beaker and with the end of the rubber tubing in the measuring cylinder. Clamp in place. Measure 20 cm3 of hydrogen peroxide and pour in to a flask. Measure 20 cm3 of potato juice and pour in to a flask Put the rubber stopper twist and push immediately to avoid leak. Immediately turn on the steering bar and start the stopcock. After 5 minutes, note the volume of oxygen in the measuring cylinder and record.
