FRIDAY MORNING: Nuestra Herencia Fiesta Costume Breakfast: Old Mission Parish Hall and Colonnade 8:00 am. La Misa Histórico Fiesta: Historic Tridentine Fiesta Mass in Latin celebrated by Franciscan priests. Old Mission Church, 10:00 am.

FRIDAY MIDDAY: Las Ceremonias de Apertura Venue/time: Mission Plaza, noon. Ringing of the Old Mission Bells. Opening remarks from dignitaries via Old Mission Steps. Presentation of El Presidente and La Señora, El Presidente Jr. and La Señorita. Brown bag concert: Mariachis in the Mission Plaza (concert in the plaza format.) Enchilada cooking contest and Cast-iron Cook-off in Old Mission Parish Hall/Colonnade. Tickets available for tasting tour with wine. Continuous tours of Old Mission Museum and SLO County History Center.

FRIDAY EVENING: La Primera Noche Opening of “Midway/Carnival/Market” Palm, Broad and Monterey Streets surrounding the Old Mission. Folklorico dancers Midnight movies at the Fremont: La Fiesta de Santa Barbara and The Treasure of Sierra Madre.
