The following materials are required to be submitted to your home campus advisor. Please click on the links below for further instructions. To submit these materials electronically, please click on Application Section E below. After your advisor has reviewed your submitted materials, and the electronic copies have been uploaded to your application (either by you or your advisor), your advisor will check these boxes, marking them as complete and verified.

Essay (*) Enter or upload a one-page essay (approximately 200-500 words) written in the language of the country you have chosen, describing the goals to be achieved in the program and including any special areas of research in which you are currently involved or would like to be involved during the program. If most or all of your courses abroad will be taught in English, the essay can be written in English. To upload a document, click on the yellow folder in the toolbar labeled "Document Center".

If you are a native English speaker, note "native" in the box below, and verify this with your advisor, so this material will be marked as received. If you are not a native English speaker, scan and upload an official or unofficial copy of your TOEFL (or other approved English proficiency test) score. If you do not yet have your test score, note the date you took the test, and when you expect to receive the results. 5. Transcript (*) In the box below, enter your name and home university. Then, scan and upload an official or unofficial copy of your academic transcript. Present the official copy to your home institution's study abroad advisor so that it can be verified as received. Official copies should include an explanation of the grading system. If this will be uploaded at a later time (by you or your advisor), please indicate the date it should arrive.

6. Bank Letter (*) In the box below, enter your name and home university. Students from the United States are not required to complete this section. If you are applying from the US to go abroad, please indicate "N/A" below. This information may be requested from your host after you are placed. Students applying to study in the United States MUST submit a letter from a financial institution that indicates the amount of money available for expenses when the student is in the United States (housing, meals, etc.). This information is required during placement and will not be used for any other purpose. Please scan and upload a copy of your bank letter using the uploader below. To upload a document, click on the yellow folder in the toolbar labeled "Document Center". Then, present the official copy to your home institution's study abroad advisor so that it can be verified as received.
