A winter’s night I walked alone, the darkness coming fast. The chilling winds blew cold and strong, the snow whirling, swirling, spining in all directions in that fatefull wind. I huried quickly , and shivered in this new dark. The sun was gone as if the world was not yet used to this freezing darkness. Then a thought came to me the kind of thought you wish not to think about for it can only bring dispair. In the road ,the path on which I traveled I could not see through these flying layers of snow, had I already lost my way?I had to cointinue for today is Thanksgiving day. I cried as I ran ,I felt so lonely ,that pain that would not leave. I crossed over to that world, where common sense is twarted by determination and a last ray of hope, like a flikering tealight in the forcefull wind. In a moment of stillness , from the hill far of the path on which I stood I saw the midnight sky, an azure blue.
