COURSE SYNOPSIS :

The course discusses the rationale and advantages of ICT applications in biology
education. The topics covered are simulation, modelling, spreadsheets, data logger,
interactive whiteboard, and other ICT applications.
LEARNING OUTCOMESS:

At the end of this course, students should be able to:

1. Discuss critically on issues and trends of implementing ICT application in teaching


and learning. (C2)
2. Apply suitable ICT applications relevant to biology curriculum. (C3, LL2)
3. Design constructivist lessons that integrate an ICT application. (P6)
4. Appreciate the ability of ICT in enhancing teaching and learning in Biology. (A3)
5. Explore the most current ICT application. (KK1, A3)
