Substance Abuse Prevention Ethics Training

Participation requirements: Participants should be individuals interested in Substance Abuse Prevention Ethics. This training fulfills the six hour Substance Abuse Prevention Ethics requirement for the MCBAP certifications, CPS and CPC. Learning objectives:

Understand the distinctions between ethics and values Be familiar with the 12 Principals of Prevention Ethics Be introduced to an ethical decision making model Participate in discussion of case studies that have ethical implications 6 MCBAP CONTACT HOURS ARE OFFERED FOR THIS TRAINING.

Our trainer, Jeanne Knopf DeRoche, is the founding principal of The Knopf Company, Inc, a Plymouth, Michigan training and consulting firm specializing in substance abuse prevention. For the past 21 years, she has managed the Substance Abuse Prevention and Training efforts in Out-Wayne and Monroe Counties, Michigan under contract with Southeastern Michigan Community Alliance, the local coordinating agency for the Bureau of Substance Abuse and Addiction Services. This project has provided training and technical assistance on substance abuse, tobacco and violence prevention to more than forty school districts and numerous community service and mental health agencies.

Cancellations must be received one week before the training begins to receive a refund. Cancellations one day before or the day of the training will not be refunded. Invoices will be issued to no shows that have not paid in advance.
