CONCRETE RUSH COAT- CRC .#'C+ROU$! PREP#R#&%O$ &he fair@faced concrete bac8ground should be thoroughly cleaned devoid of dust: loose particles: 1ood pieces: mould oil etc2 &he suction in the bac8ground should be thoroughly neutrali3ed by applying clean potable 1ater2 %f any chemical substance <curing compound etc2= exists over the fair@faced concrete surfacesD it should be mechanically removed by scrabbling or sandblasting the entire surfaces before applying 'onmix 'oncrete Rush 'oat <'R'=2 "ree 1ater on the surface should be allo1ed to disperse before spraying 'R' to avoid de@bonding later on2 ,%E%$+ 'R' supplied in 9A 8g bags must be mixed 1ith potable 1ater only in a clean plastic buc8et or a clean: non@corrosive: uncontaminated metal tub2 &o ensure a homogeneous and uniform mix: an electric agitator or paddle mixer must be used2 &he amount of 1ater to be added is F liters per 9A 8g bag <i2e2 approx2 1G> by 1eight=2 #dd the 'R' to 1aterD turn the contents of the bag carefully adding small amounts at a time and stir fre;uently2 Once mixed allo1 to stand for 9 minutes and mix again before spraying2 $o further 1ater should be added to the mix2 -ard and set plaster should not be remixed2 #PP(%'#&%O$ &he mixed 'R' should be sprayed on to the prepared bac8ground using a &yrolean machine or a po1er pattern spray gun2 'R' should not be applied using a tro1el2 Spray an entire prepared area and allo1 some time for the applied 'R' to stiffen before doubling bac82 Ensure that the applied 'R' covers the entire area of the concrete surface area2 # rough texture is to be obtained to provide a mechanical 8ey for the subse;uent coat of plaster2 &he applied 'R' should be 1ater cured for a period of days <0@4 times daily= and allo1ed to harden2 SPE'%#( $O&E "or application procedure in case of light 1eight bloc8s: concrete containing micro silica: curing compound or any special additive or building material: 8indly contact 'onmix technical department for assistance2
