Please remember to send a note with your child anytime there is a change in their dismissal. Even if you tell your child to change their dismissal, the teacher must have a note giving permission for the change. Otherwise, the teachers are to dismiss the child according to their normal transportation. Children often misunderstand the verbal instructions, so it is important to send these to their teacher. Also, remember that a written note is preferred to an email. Emails can be missed if the teacher is absent or the internet is down. You can call the office with your changes. Please try to call these in no later than 1:45 pm. Thank you for helping us ensure your child is dismissed correctly.

The council also helps establish priorities for the capital expenditures budget, the incentive budget and the operational budget for the school. At various times, SIC members are asked to represent the school on district committees. The School Improvement Council is composed of elected and appointed teachers, parents, and community members. Our current council consists of the following elected parents from our school. Rotating off the council this year: Lisa Duncan Jo Anne Hill Jennifer Thornsberry Vera Timmons The following parents will serve their second year during 2014-2015 school year: Robby Aull Michael Sechrest Each year parents elect their representatives to serve on the council. Three people elected will begin their term of service in the 2014-2015 school year and will rotate off the council at the end of the 2015-2016 school year. One person elected will only serve during the 2014-2015 school year. Before submitting a nomination, we request that you ask the person for permission to submit his/her name.
