TITLE: Senior Development Officer

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: I am an experienced, mid-career fundraising executive who

has been central to the rapid growth and expansion of a cutting-edge nonprofit
organization. My experience has prepared me for the next stage of my career, where I
will use my considerable skills at a job I love for an organization I believe in.

QUALIFICATIONS
• I have successfully directed an annual fundraising campaign from conception to
completion for five years, helping to grow it from $6.9 million in 2004 to $10.1

• I have managed various programs including events (featuring an art auction
which raised $128,000 in one night), a foundation program raising $4,500,000 in
2008 from 35 foundations, and major donor relationship building. This was
accomplished with an eye toward cultivating and asking major donors for large
gifts. In 2008 I closed two six-figure gifts from first-time donors.
• I was the lead on creating and growing a direct mail program which now mails
1.2 million pieces of mail a year and last year grossed $954,000 for the
organization.
• I currently manage four direct staff reports and up to three unpaid interns. As a
member of the senior management team I am involved in all organization-wide
decisions involving human resource policy, compensation, budgeting, expense
tracking, board relations, and program.
