History & Philosophy

Founded January 1, 2001 by Melissa C. Sims, Commercial Environments, Inc. is

recognized as a provider of quality products and interior design services throughout the
Greater Knoxville Area. Since opening our doors, Commercial Environments continues
to grow exponentially in the interior design and commercial furniture industry. Because
of the company’s small beginnings, Commercial Environments, Inc. places extensive
emphasis on customer service, loyalty, and strong client relationships. Melissa Sims,
President of Commercial Environments, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and
has nearly ten years experience in the interior design and furnishings arena. She is
accompanied by a team of skilled designers and sales staff who work together to
guarantee successful completion of each project while remaining attentive to each client’s
needs.

GIZA DWG IMPORT PREPARATION

If Giza has difficulty importing a DWG file created in AutoCAD it may be necessary to
prepare the file in AutoCAD for an import into Giza. The following steps can assist an
AutoCAD specialist in preparing a DWG file for an import into Giza.

In AutoCAD:

1. Switch to Model Space if in Paper Space.

2. Bind all external reference files. (Giza cannot import external reference files).
3. Unlock and Thaw all layers.
4. Run EXPLODE command. Explode All. (This may need to be done more than
once to explode nested blocks). Architectural Desktop users will have a different
explode command (AECOBJEXPLODE).
5. Run AUDIT command.
6. Run PURGE command. Purge All.
7. Save the drawing down to AutoCAD 2004 format.

Note: Not ALL of the above steps will always be required. Action steps may vary
depending on the symptoms of the Giza import issue. Many times a simple AUDIT and
PURGE of the DWG file will suffice.

be laminate. We did not propose frosted glass like in this picture.
