Christianity believes and teaches that the Bible alone is the revealed Word of God.

 Even though it was written by men, Christianity makes the claim that the ultimate author was God.  This claim was not invented by Christian believers, but the Bible itself makes this claim as to being true. “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.”   (Isaiah 40:8)

”   (2 Timothy 2:16-17) “For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man. but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”   (2 Peter 1:21) . rebuking. correction and training in righteousness.“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching. so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

  That is the authority that comes with the Bible.However.  It is as if God is speaking directly to us. . for there are other books that make similar claims. the mere fact that the Bible claims to be the Word of God does not prove that it is true.  The key difference is that the Bible contains very strong evidence as being the actual Word of God.

 Yet.  From beginning to end. there is the unfolding story of God’s plan of salvation for mankind.
