ETHOS AND VALUES

It is our individual and collective aim to encourage every child to grow and develop socially, emotionally and academically to the VERY best of his/her potential. This may be achieved in a number of ways: To help our children develop lively, enquiring minds, able to question and argue rationally and to apply themselves to tasks and physical skills. To help our children acquire knowledge and skills relevant to adult life and employment in a rapidly changing world. To foster in our children respect for religious and moral values other races, religions and ways of life. To enable our children to use number and language with skill, understanding and accuracy in order that they may be better able to communicate effectively. To raise their awareness of their surroundings and the necessity for conservation of the natural environment with special regard to the future development of the local community. To help them appreciate human achievement and aspirations. To provide a range of opportunities and experiences designed to suit the needs of a whole range of ability levels.
